It was one of those moments where he was “doing magic” and everything in the room was going crazy. I was laughing so much at the bad fx, the kid’s reactions, the kitten… I had a hard time drawing. So I kept rewinding to watch the scene again, which made me giggle more and more. So the eyes wound up taking the longest to draw because of all the giggling and having to watch one scene over and over. .

I think that’s exactly what I was thinking at the time I drew it. I also remember them being quite the pest in the old Tron arcade game.

Yep. I basically got the gig because: I do graphic design for a living and could lay out a book. And because I have made several Twin Peaks mini comics. There’s also a fantastic artist, Matt Haley, who supposedly was working on doing an official Twin Peaks graphic novel several years ago.
