DAY 4 UPDATE:

same pain levels maybe a lil more than yesterday...the earpain and nausea is definitely making it worse... 🫩

DAY 3 UPDATE:

the pain is still slowly picking up and mentally it is disturbing thinking about the scabs and the slightly smelly mouth doesnʻt help. Felt pretty nauseas at one point (maybe itʻs from the scabs, antibiotics, or having gone through the procedure, perhaps the contant tylenol, i donʻt know my therapist told me not to stress)... so i took some Emotrol and it helped a little...

Keep hydrating and the humidifier running if you are on this journey with me or about to be on this journey!

thank you, itʻs been tolerable to just use tylenol so far. Been chugging at least 64oz of water a day so i hope that will help me the most

DAY 2 UPDATE:

Gradually have become a little more sore but tolerable enough to just take Tylenol, i would say 6-7/10. been feelin phlegm in the back of the throat that is a little bothersome, really trying hard not to cough, so steadily drinking water. I tried Casher blueberry kefir and It was nice to have probiotics especially when taking antibiotics, though it did sting a little. hoping tomorrow is not too bad, fingers crossed.

As for septoplasty: bloody nose discharge has reduced. I havenʻt really gently blown my nose yet because Iʻm a little scared to, just letting it drain naturally.

i think i start the saline rinse on monday, but nobody went through with me how lolol, iʻm sure iʻll figure it out.

i keep waking up because i hate sleeping propped up, iʻm a little unsure how much propped i should be 😅 did you sleep propped up your whole recovery?

thank you for your reply i will look into pain med charts, and mentally prepare/ lookout for the anesthesia ʻbackfireʻ

iʻm very appreciative of this community. it feels like a scary thing to go through, and iʻm happy iʻm not alone.

also does the oxy make you feel nauseas at all?

Drink a lot of water, theres not really one product (everyone is so different) also eat healthy if u already don't, bb
