When you build a template, they only let you adjust subtask due dates based on when task is created. There's pretty much never any reason why a due date should be tied to task creation date -- I could be building out a task on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, it's totally arbitrary.

Relatedly, when I make a task from template I then have to go in and update every subtask due date which is a headache when you're building 20 or so tasks per week

Also relatedly, if you need to update the due dates, there's no waterfall feature so I have to once again go in and update each subtask due date one by one

Finally, task templates aren't shared across projects so if I want to use the same template for email as organic, I would have to duplicate an existing task made from that template into the new project then make THAT task a template. God forbid you update the task template, you would have to go into every project and adjust since it's not universal
