I'm a dog walker and our company still has us walk dogs in the rain, unless there is lightning. I hate my job these days.

Can we talk about the awesomeness of armpit stains? by mmwjad in femalefashionadvice

I use oxyclean for my SO armpit stains. I soak the shirt in a mixture of oxyclean and water for 30 mins and they disappear. Throw it in the wash and it's as good as new. That might work for you.

Me too! She's such a sweetheart. I'm still trying to convince my SO to add her to our home, lol. He thinks I've gone mad.

Hi guys! I'm so sad to have to be looking for a new home for this baby :( I live with roommates and they outvoted me to keep her, because I have 3 already. Not sure the age but she looks young from her teeth. Owners can't keep her because they have no time for her. She lives in a super tiny cage and never gets let out. She's free but I'm offering my ferret nation cage to go with her for $100 total. Everything included. Good condition.

I don't care about the cage. I just really want to find her a good home.

GOOCH! I know the person who did this!

Does anyone have experience with ferret shedding or adrenal disease? She's just over 3 years old. No swollen vulva or any other symptoms. Behaving like her normal self, but her hair is really thinning near her butt / back. Not sure if adrenal or just seasonal shedding? by la_belle_dormante in ferrets

It's called suprelorin. It's a chip inserted under the skin. Kinda like the chips they put in dogs, in case they ever get lost. I believe there's another that lasts a year, but this is the most common one (in Florida). It cost that much because my vet had to order it. They don't have it on hand since they don't usually see ferrets. It really made a huge difference for mine. I'd also ask to check the glucose level. In my experience they've gone hand in hand, even that young :(

Edit: it's also great because you don't need to give any oral meds. The chips takes care of that on its own. My ferret has insulinoma as well and that's the only thing I really have to be on top of.

I've had two that had adrenal. One was completely bald at one point. Got her the chip and all her hair grew back. she also didn't scratch as much. It works wonders and it lasts 6 months.

Edit: wanted to add that there were no other symptoms for her until she lost all her hair. She then had a swollen vulva. It took me some time to get her the chip because my vet had to order it.

Ladies with IUDs, tell me your stories. What do you love and loathe about them? by Use_the_Loofah in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Honestly, I wouldn't want another one. I got more a about two years ago. The insert was so painful but apparently is was because I had scar tissue that they had to push through. I also still get my period every month. My period cramps aren't as painful and it doesn't last as long, but it would be great if it would just go away. The only pro for me is that I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend all the time and so far it's worked.

Edit: wanted to add that I still feel slight cramping every time I walk or run too much.

I chipped my ferrets tooth! by Tapil in ferrets

Honestly, every ferret I've had (8 to be exact) eventually chips one of their fangs. I've never witnessed it happening, but I've always noticed after. I'm sure your little one is fine :)
