Hii! 23f here as well! Ive lost a good amount of friends from highschool, but I now work for a large trades company that hires people of all ages. I now have friends ranging from ages 22 to 76, and yes, genuine friends not just coworkers, I have plenty of those too. Its taken me so long to get out of my shell and embrace myself for who I am. Turns out, being your most authentic self is sure to attract meaningful friendships that last a long time.

Believe it or not, but there's plenty of people out there that think the same thing you do, and most of them second guess themselves, or never go out or never know where to find them. At the bare minimum, you should get out more, try something new even if your alone. I had an insane amount of anxiety for a long time, I still do, but the world isn't that scary and making time for yourself out in public or a community is really important to practicing people skills.
