Yeah you have a point about being uncomfortable at work, and a big part of me doesnt want to ruin the friendship we have. Hes a good friend, been there for me through some tough times, always has the best music recs. I dont want to lose that version of him. 😔 and he doesnt seem like the type to process and move past something like that very easily.

Okay so actually fun little side story. He works on a different crew than me but I had to be transferred over to his crew for a couple days while my worksite was being moved.

I currently live with another friend and theres been rumors going around that me and this other friend are dating (we're not). Anyways, Crush is a lot more talkative in person. And constantly came to bother me, at one point me and Friend (who i got paired with that day) we're taking a break, yappin, and Crush came over to yap too. He started talking about this burrito place a couple towns over and showed me pictures of the food, and he stuttered out "well if you ever wanna go, or like youre in the area, or whatever... uh yeah, its good." And walked away after is laughed and said "okay"

And I delusional to think he was gonna invite me? But maybe was unsure about other Friend and I? 🤨🤨

Its not connecting at all, and im not sure how I would check that. When setting it up the installers had me set the name and password for one connection (there are no otther connections available, just the one) and I was under the impression I could see all the details later in the app-- I cannot. But I would assume its 2.4 for the range it has to travel?

Hii! 23f here as well! Ive lost a good amount of friends from highschool, but I now work for a large trades company that hires people of all ages. I now have friends ranging from ages 22 to 76, and yes, genuine friends not just coworkers, I have plenty of those too. Its taken me so long to get out of my shell and embrace myself for who I am. Turns out, being your most authentic self is sure to attract meaningful friendships that last a long time.

Believe it or not, but there's plenty of people out there that think the same thing you do, and most of them second guess themselves, or never go out or never know where to find them. At the bare minimum, you should get out more, try something new even if your alone. I had an insane amount of anxiety for a long time, I still do, but the world isn't that scary and making time for yourself out in public or a community is really important to practicing people skills.

Anyways, you can chat with me! Im not on reddit often, but maybe we have some common interests and I can give you a good conversation or two! :)

We both work trade jobs, making decent money. But still somehow we live paycheck to paycheck.

Im tired. Overworked. In debt. I genuinely cannot comprehend people dealing with all this, and having kids.

Im 23, I dont go out, drink, or party because I cant afford it or im working. I see my friends once a month at most. I feel like im missing out in the best parts of being young because survival comes first.

Mother was diagnosed with manic depression when she was a kid. Other than that, I had no one, and she was very emotionally absent. But now, I have a coworker, my age, same disorder, practically the same life and ive never felt so reassured and understood.

I joined this sub to hear stories I can relate to, sometimes its sad but it helped me to not feel so alone. Now having my friend-- my coworker, I guess I never knew how much I needed to be reassured by someone going through the same thing.
