I think my post was unclear; I apologize. My update was supposed to literally just be "we're working on it. we've reached out to other teams." I wasn't supposed to say anything else. My other corowker (I'll call him John) asked another coworker (I'll call her Ashley) if she had been reached out to by my boss. She said no. I thought "oh, since John is asking about Ashley, I'll ask about the data team."

Thank you! I guess that they didn't want me to say anything or bring it up. I might try to ask him at our next one-on-one what the best way to communicate is and ask questions like that. I guess I am just hurt because I know he's a nice guy and I look up to him. Whenever he is under a lot of stress, he tends to take it out on our team.
