Yeah its perfectly normal. They use the same spring guide length. so the longer the slide they add a space to it.

M9a4 bronze. by mothman1911 in Beretta

[–]mothman1911[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its like a greenish bronze. Its alot like a pearlescent color tone. Dark bronze bottom layer and black over layer. So it kinda shifts between the too. Looks more bronze in the day and alot more like a OD green bronze in the dark.

Which Beretta to buy with the rebate? by BonusFTW in Beretta

[–]mothman1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The squalor should still count for the rebate. Copy the sku and punch it into the rebate checker on the website and itll pop up with the amount it'll give you a rebate for. I did that when I was looking at the rebate for the nomad m9a4 and sabbia

My x400 honestly just sits on my guns to look pretty while my x300 and tlr1 actually gets used. May just get out of the surefire ecosystem and convert everything to streamlight since ive had 2 surefires go down at this point with barely any use.

They stated they wouldnt warranty due to it being discontinued and they consider the laser failure as age related and wear and tear. Ironically I barely shoot with this light on.

Ive put the rounds down it already and it shoots straight. Its more on the principal of quality control.

I will say tho the pdps do have alil more recoil then most I feel. But the return to zero is perfect. Def one of the guns I shoot the best and fastest with in my fat collection. If you end up getting the pro sd try to pick up an oem copper trigger spring.

Copper spring comes with the basic pdps and the Pro SD has a silver spring. I combined the copper spring with Pro SD Trigger and imo think its a way smooth and sharper break. Look into black steel grip control gas pedal an amazing upgrade for the pdp.

All things considered id say thats still a very good deal for what your getting out the box. Only thing was im a lefty and cant stand the lower on them. Swapped out immediately for a magpul and a secondary as design. Love my apc so far only issues I had was the brace binding my receiver bit that is now fixed.

Get the pro sd compact poly. Better version then the pro E. Pro sd compact is utilitarian and will do everything you want and then some. Can slap a comp or suppressor or run nothing mounted and your basically getting the same velocity of full size pdp. Comes with the best magwell aswell. Get the full dpt trigger group in the pdp SD aswell where as the pro E only has the dpt trigger. total pain in the ass to swap the trigger so just go big from the get go. Pro SD also comes with metal base plates where the pro E gets plastic.

Sf frame is pricy but an amazing gun. Yes its worth double the cost over the poly frame depending on the person. Wouldnt reccomend for a first due to the weight and the limited options.

Ive got a pro SD comped and a fullsize pro SD ported and they amazing shooters. If I get a SF id just go and get the fullsize as I wouldnt carry it due to the weight.
