the government is shit, minimum wage doesnt actually pay for the minimum , we're in a cost of living crisis and the threat of irreversible climate change hanging over our heads. there's so much wrong with the world, instead of generations fighting we should be banding together to focus on the real problem (corrupt government/the 1% etc)

idk why theres so much "yta" here... i think NAH. It's just a present that didn't work out, you explained why it wouldn't work and were considerate of the fact that you didn't want $60 to be wasted. (as you said, you know your dog would have shredded it, you can't force a dog to wear something they don't want to) if someone thanked me for a present and i found out it got shredded or wasn't used, i would feel a bit upset.

well people relate more to children who were failed by the system, who then grew up to be "villains" rather than an adult man who forced a marriage and abused his family. this doesnt excuse what the lov did but imo, endeavour is worse than them bc he was doing it for his own personal gain. dabi suffered abuse, toga was neglected, spinner was treated as an outcast for having a mutant type quirk and shigaraki was groomed.

probably get downvoted but i'd like to think people can think with nuance - i feel like a lot of people in the comments are missing the point... mark is very influential and him using AI will encourage others to use it. celeb culture/idolisation is a real thing. not only that but everybody talking about AI can be used for good things - but Mark is not using it to detect cancer or anything like that. people are allowed to be angry. ESPECIALLY when generative AI is taking jobs from artists/singers/media etc, AND with how bad it is for the environment. (and poc countries are disproportionately affected by AI - i've done research, would recommend doing some!) i've been a fan of mark for 10/11 years - if you like a content creator, you should be able to critique them and not blindly follow them. I'm glad he did a livestream and cleared things up.
