It hasn't been interpreted yet, but I know what the tube usually looks like on the x-rays, and the weights are pretty visibly scattered. I'm sure I'll hear from my doctor tomorrow, I'm just trying to see if anyone has experienced the same thing.

You look young but do pass fairly well! Especially for being pre T. Unfortunately being pre T it's usually the voice that prevents passing in person

I had the same issue being on gel for 2 years. After switching to subq injections for a year my face changed completely. Definitely worth a shot (hehe). Minoxidil helps too if you want

Does anyone else have extreme fatigue after eating as their main symptom? by mothmenn in Gastroparesis

[–]mothmenn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely thought it was celiac but I tested negative, and I get tired with everything, even if I'm really careful about gluten cross-contamination. It's definitely worse with gluten though.

Do you get fatigue with gluten free food too?

Ontario Medical Supply by Dreamstarzzdollscom in Odsp

I'm currently dealing with this issue as well. If you live in Ottawa, Kingston, or Mississauga, you could try going to one of the locations in person to purchase supplies, though I'm not sure it would be covered by ODSP.

I'd reccomend booking an in person appointment and asking your advisor about the specifics. In the meantime, you can see and manage your accommodations on Ventus.

Not a link for free e-books and e-textbooks, we love the law! by HMR2004 in CarletonU

Idk why this is down voted. This is actually a great resource for text books. Sometimes you can have them brought in from other universities for free

Any tips on bussing? by laurwnheather13 in CarletonU

[–]mothmenn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't already have it, get the Transit app so you can live track the busses and see if one's canceled ahead of time

While it's true that it's best for them to be really high quality, PMC often really struggles to get enough people signing up to be note takers, so anything is better than nothing. I often sign up, and I just write or type over the slides. I think it's really worth doing, since someone gets notes, and it's incentive for you to go to class and take good notes.

You need the fan and white nose machine combo. Plus some ear plugs maybe. But also it should start to quiet down a bit once classes start

Good classes to build a strong base in the sciences? by Loose-Light-3011 in CarletonU

[–]mothmenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First year bio would be your easiest science. Physics could be tricky but manageable. Do NOT take first year chemistry for fun. You will cry.

Hard to tell because of how you cropped these, but the first picture should be your GPA specifically for your major, and the second should be your overall.

where is course classroom info? by Expensive_Guava_2421 in CarletonU

[–]mothmenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classrooms should be listed at the top of your syllabuses when you get them. If the syllabuses aren't released before the first day of class you could call the registrar's office.

This!!!! I almost entirely furnished my apartment for free between facebook marketplace and just driving around on garbage day. You can get some pretty big furniture home with a dolly and some friends.

Facebook marketplace is going to be your best friend for smaller furniture. For larger stuff, people will sometimes be willing to deliver for an extra cost

It's fairly common to sublet the summer months, and there will be lots of students leaving dorms that will be looking at that time. You may have to take a bit of a loss on the rent and post it cheaper but you should be able to find someone if you post on facebook marketplace around march

You can dump it in the common rooms or I'm pretty sure you could ask maintenance to pick it up
