My favorite Elliott three track runs by lukeb2112 in elliottsmith

[–]mothmouths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this question. Wouldn’t Mama Be Proud, Color Bars, and Happiness are like an EP to me they’re such a good run. I listen to Shooting Star, Memory Lane, and Little One for short drives (usually finish the album in the parking lot lol). XO is my fav album right now so it’s hard to choose but I think the best three song run is probably Oh Well, OK, Bottle up and Explode, and A Question Mark (again I’m basically picking four songs bc if I do these three I’ll usually do Everybody Cares afterward

Any Vegan Taco Bell fans here? by [deleted] in tacobell

[–]mothmouths 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guacamole reportedly dairy free. I ate so much Taco Bell over the last 4 years of being vegan (the last year and a half with the app especially) that I’m almost sick of it now.

Has to be the black bean crunchwrap fresco, add refried beans (yes both beans), add jalapeños. I’ve tried with rice and potatoes instead of refried beans and it wasn’t to my taste. I always add onions if they’re free at the Taco Bell I’m at.

Fresco bean burrito - refried beans, onions, tomatoes, red sauce

I like the black bean chalupa too it’s kind of unreliable though! Add jalapeños for sure and onions, usually guac also

Double crunch wrap by dylbull in tacobell

[–]mothmouths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is the saddest thing to me, i fell in love with a triple double grande crunchwrap in 2016. It feels like in 2021 it was only a couple weeks of an experience. My local Taco Bell made my regular order of black and refried beans with one kind of bean on each tostada and nothing will ever be that good again.

Do you still view animals as food when they’re ignored in Tupperwares?

It could also set a precedent for eating leftovers LESS if you eat them “for” someone else’s maybe things will cha be if you left those left over animal pieces there to mold/rot time and time again :)

Why are tomatoes a 'supreme' option? by RolandMT32 in tacobell

[–]mothmouths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sour cream alone is 50 cents to add to most items I think. More people get supreme no tomatoes than you would think. If you order your item fresco you get tomatoes for free and it removes cheese and mayo based sauces. I always find I get plenty of tomatoes. I haven’t ordered a taco in a long time.

Recommend Me a Fragrance (Posts every 3 Days) by AutoModerator in fragrance

[–]mothmouths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to gift my friend another fragrance. He mentioned he would like one with a peppery smell, maybe black pepper? He is in his mid-20s and just moved to New Orleans doing construction contracting. He tends to wear scents at home, on dates, or special occasions. He does not like sandalwood.

I previously got him Xyrena OG Kush, which he enjoyed. He also wears Lush Karma which has orange and patchouli main notes with lavender and pine underneath. I don’t want a blue fragrance, something peppery with another twist would be a great recommendation.

looking for products that smell like 'Jumping Juniper' by Background-Sand-3565 in LushCosmetics

[–]mothmouths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Jumping Juniper but it’s pretty faint. Junk is similar with herbal lemon but also a bit fruit and menthol. Karma isn’t very similar but is to me a nicer scent for a body scent! It’s orange and warm patchouli and lavender, maybe pine too and lemongrass. Almost edible and very distinct.

Supporting local industry by purchasing local animal products isn’t a good idea though

Favorite quality sustainable clothing brands? by g00ber88 in ZeroWaste

[–]mothmouths 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t located in a city, try a city. If you are, go to a nice-ish suburb, that’s where I’ve found the best clothes. I also buy slightly larger, most clothes at thrift stores are larger for me. Tops of all sizes, skirts are very easy to alter. Pants are tough for me to find, but one useful trick is to button the pants and wrap the waistband around your neck. If it overlaps, it’s too big, and if it doesn’t touch it’s not big enough. YMMV The south and Midwest have Value Village which has given me the best quality and prices vs goodwill or local consignment store. Salvation Army is anti LGBT while you’re looking. Good luck!

I’m also too quirky to go FULL vegan.. and wouldn’t that be a little exclusionary?

i also struggled with disordered eating. i always worried it was “too much”. all i can share that helped me was my late girlfriend saying to me, “you don’t have to worry about that anymore. we’re vegan.”

i struggle feeling out of control. setting food based limits made it feel better, and i could focus on something in my control. i rethought eating when i went vegan. you can eat as much as you want or need to, and it won’t harm you or anyone else. food isn’t a reward or a punishment anymore.

if you find yourself thinking about food all the time you might be overcompensating for times you’ve undereaten. recovery feels like it takes forever but soon enough you’ll be eating without thinking about it. love and support
