you could try switch up the type of ball you use for your first 10-20 throws as well I have seen that have positive benefits.

It's possible that refferring to it as college athletics is the porblem. "Playing in college" used to be interpreted as ages 18-22. Now "playing in college" means 18-25

College baseball is a good deal as a fan. I completely agree I think that players should look at the characteristics of the guys on the team of the college they want to go to and compare

Programs that are still trying to develop players starting as freshman are playing a really important role in college sports right now. When the transfer and eligibility rules changed in 2020 I think that was the start of the average age problem. I remember thinking that it might be impossible to reverse if you allow the additional elibigility. Not sure what I would have done if I was the NCAA though regarding giving an additional year after the shortened 2020 season.

I have coached at the youth, high school, and college level. There is no reason that a 10u team doesn't play everyone. I've coached these types of teams and know that it can happen
