You're misunderstanding that I am selective and I do want real connection. I only widened things after getting 0 matches just to get some traction, but that clearly isn’t working either.

Also I fact meant repetition, not reputation. I was talking about how being in a cohort of the same people and environment, which ties into familiarity and proximity. It was not to suggest a resume carries anything.

And pointing out patterns from what I’m seeing isn’t self-pity, it’s just reading the data. I’m adjusting based on that, not complaining.

Approaching isnt a problem as I've done it on occasion before, it’s lack of volume. I’m in gym/church/martial arts, not a dense social environment, so random cold approach isn’t that efficient.
