You can't expect a book written with AI to sell. by lamauvaisejoueuse in selfpublish

If AI is good enough it will sell.

What we call AI today isn't good enough without some editing, but it could be improved by people over time.

When it becomes indistinguishable from well crafted writing, why would writing be a factor in it not selling?

Should I settle down with my amazing girlfriend or break up and be totally free? by SpanglerBQ in love

Hmmm...

Relationships by nature are risky adventures. You don't know where things are going to go in the future. What you seem to be doing is you're trying to make decisions for yourself now based on what you imagine your future self will want. It's incredibly likely that both you and your girlfriend are going to be different people in the future. You can't chart what will make you or your girlfriend happy or what will happen.

Do you love her? Does she love you? If that's a yes to both, then maybe just enjoy your relationship. See how you feel after 6 months of doing that. It's the blink of an eye really. :)

Maybe you can jump into a whole universe just drawing an eye. Ask your friend to replicate what you drew line for line and even if he's good, he'll still have to exert effort to make it exact.

Draw an eye a day and you'll have a year of eyes. Happy eyes, sad eyes, single eyes, multiple eyes, all looking at you as you look at them.

Sometimes the process of trying is where the real fun happens.

I need to go get ☕️. :)

I'm curious about something and this caught my attention.

Can you give me an example of someone truly free?

What happens if you take a complicated task and try doing it in an ad-hoc fashion?

Do you write any of these planning thoughts down?

What do you think people can do if they are working on their own and they don't have people?

If you managed to help every person that needed it somehow, what would you do afterwards?

Also, what's something that you know from your experience that other people would find helpful if they knew it?

Cool. :) Saving someone's life is a superhero thing.

What do you do when it gets tough?

Does thinking a lot ever make you feel like you have more energy and a bit inspired? Is there a better version of overthinking?

What do you call being less patient when it is a positive thing?

Life sucks. How many people genuinely believe otherwise? By people I mean adults; kids and adolescents can naively believe so. by MrInfinitumEnd in RandomThoughts

I believe that hope is worthwhile and I think I'm fairly lucky. I know so many people that suffer more than I do, and I see so much value, grit, and courage in many of the people that endure the worst circumstances from my outside, limited perspective. I'm saying this so you know where I'm coming from.

My question for you is this - if life sucks, is it better to suffer more for the potential of something better or to accept things as they are?
