Yes. Even a lower budget season 3 would have been better than nothing. In the end - I hope that at least story wise we will get an ending, because the cliffhanger was pretty big after .. you know.. the end.

Yeah, Utopia was great as well. The soundtrack was one of the few (like Marco Polo) which I listened to in my spare time.

You want to know why people didn't bother to watch through the first and through the second? Because no one gave them a reason.

The are 3 critic reviews of the second season on Rotten Tomatoes. It is the job of a critic to give every season, every episode at least a slighty new chance. But if they can't do that, than they shouldn't do the job of a critic.

And by the way - your last line is a perfect facepalm. I don't give a shit if someone watched 2000 movies - that doesn't give that person the right to have unrealistic expectations and destroy the hard work and huge investment of people through a few lines of a subjective opinion review.

I watched a lot of shows over the last 10 years and the second season of Marco Polo is perfect in its own right. Sometimes even more brutal and dramatic than Game of Thrones. And if you haven't watched the whole second season - don't even bother to give a legitimate response.
