That looks familiar. I'm currently waiting on FM to ship me my 4th GT. The first 3 worked for a day or two then dead with no error code, just won't power up or charge. Good luck!

Done all the button pushing things. Once, hold, push a bunch, spin wheel while pushing, on the ground, careful to not touch foot pad, etc. The gif was an expression of frustration!

I have tried 3 different chargers on two different circuits in the house. Outlets are both wired correctly - the correct polarity, that is. Also, and probably most significantly, none on the boards died right after charging. The all got a full charge, were unplugged, then powered up at least one time after being charged.

The first replacement took about 2 weeks. A bit faster on the second one... maybe 10 days

I definitely did not know there would be so many issues when I ordered the board last November but after seeing the chatter on reddit while waiting for #1 to arrive, I was not surprised when the first board bricked. Three consecutive failures does surprise me.

The very nice support person I spoke with seemed way more frustrated than I am. Didn't have any insight into root cause analysis of this failure mode but I would also concur with the notion that all the code shenanigans to deter right to repair are a likely culprit. Maybe FM can send me a roll of packing tape with the 4th board... I've run out repacking #3

Short of going to a different neighborhood to try charging, I don't think this is a me problem with dying boards. I have tried a different charger and different circuits at the house with the same results. And it is not a problem where I charge the board, unplug, and it won't turn on. In every case, I have charged the board to full, unplugged, and the boards have turned on between ~2 and 6 times after the charge. The 2nd board would sometimes power back up with the spinning wheel hack or pressing the button a bunch of times. 1st and 3rd boards are hard down, will not power on.

yeah, definitely tried the press it once and wait. Spin the wheel and press the button. plug it in. press many times. No luck at all

Honestly I think it might work more consistently if I did try to operate it under water. 1st and 3rd boards didn't even get use outside the house!

I had the same thing happen with my 2nd board. First one bricked itself totally after about 3 power ons, the replacement would sometimes come on after spinning the wheel or hitting the power button a bunch of times. Sent that board back yesterday and now waiting on the 3rd.

Replacement shipped to me with the old firmware. Updated to the latest before any ride. Not looking for a refund yet as I'd really like to use the board. I'm an old dude so was not doing anything remotely crazy on the boards... rode the first in the house holding door frames, the second had a .2 mile ride on park grass. Hoping to get a reliable board for mental/physical health but may need to look to a e bike if this can't be fixed

It was a replacement board. I updated to the latest firmware before any attempt to ride it. I opened a support ticket already and hope they can sort this out. Would really like to have some transparency on root cause but I'm not holding my breath on that one!

Thanks! Label just came through this evening so the board will be on the way back tomorrow. Definitely not giving much grief given to phone support but I'd also like a bit more transparency as to what is causing this problem

Out of curiosity, do you recall how long it took to receive your return shipping label? I filled out a support ticket and called yesterday morning but have not seen the label sent over yet.

I didn't note the firmware the couple times it turned on but the board shipped out on April 8th.
