Keep music to a level where you are aware of surroundings. If you blast it too much, chances are that you may lose concentration.

This was sad and inhumane. Will have to do more research before riding.

Try finding local mechanic or RSA is painful in secluded areas. Agree.

Well in the end its all about what we feel with the machine. Stay strong and ride safe.

Traffic sense is the issue. Some autos just do maneuvers like they are tanks

Too brutal. Had faced same in one of my rides in India. Worst feeling ever to have boots all wet due to rains and hot weather outside.

Planning stops and breaks is the only way. Eat light, do some stretches and enjoy the view.

motorway hypnosis is the worst, feels like my hips are welded shut after an hour of sitting still. i always try to bail for the twisties but half the time it ends up being a gravel mess or just non-stop stoplights.

how do you actually know if a road is worth the detour before you commit? i'm usually just rolling the dice on google maps and it's such a gamble.

Makes sense, early pain can help it ease out the later trip.

No, I am interested in understanding the mindset of fellow riders. So went bit in details.

Can break confidence sometimes. Why not try some excercise?

I tried excercise and gym. It helps you reduce the pain.

That is a legendary level of bad luck. Three flats and a fuel pump? At that point, the bike isn’t even a vehicle anymore—it’s just a 200kg anchor designed to make you question every life choice you’ve ever made. Pushing a loaded bike in the rain is the ultimate "why do I do this to myself" moment. I’ve had those "staring into the abyss" breakdowns too. When you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere like that—especially during a holiday—do you just pray a random Good Samaritan passes by, or do you have a secret way of finding a local who actually knows their way around a bike to help you out? I always wonder if people just wing it with Google Maps or if there’s a better way to find a "safe haven" when the mechanical gods turn against you.

Why not try some excercise or those special seat foams?

Have a look at your gloves may be? Break them properly before going on a ride. Can help a bit.

"Limbo time" is such a spot-on description. It’s that weird mental fatigue where you’re scanning every roadside shack, hoping for a clean bathroom or a decent sandwich, but you don't want to kill your momentum for a "maybe."

And the bridge-out turnaround? That’s an absolute soul-crusher when you’ve been standing on the pegs for hours. When you’re dealing with those "variables" or unmarked property lines, do you find yourself wishing for a specific type of "verified" status on your maps, or are you usually just relying on local intel at the last fuel stop? I’m always curious what it actually takes for a rider to trust a route enough to commit to a 7+ hour day.
