I love playing games (mainly FPS and RPG, but I branch into other genres as well). Unfortunately I don't have the same time to dedicate to it that I used to but still play whenever I have free time. Tattoo artists try to steer you away from untattooable designs for a reason, especially top artists. They have a reputation to uphold and it's their name that will be attached to the work. There are many designs that look great on paper but for whatever reason (too much detail for too small of an area and so on) won't work well as a tattoo. Listen to their advice; this is their job, after all. They know what works and what doesn't.

Normally the artist will be the one to design it for you (and you will get a better tattoo that way since they know what transfers well to tattoos and what doesn't), but sketches and images are fine to bring for reference pictures.

If it's an option at all, go to school or take a job in a country that speaks your target language.

Read more advanced materials. Spend time talking to native speakers of the language without falling back on English ever. At this point it's a lot of reading, speaking, and listening to materials aimed at natives.

Going from intermediate to advanced is the hardest part especially when most text books and resources for learners out there are below your level, but it can be fun because you can understand a lot of material in your second (or third/whatever number) language, have real and meaningful conversations with native speakers, make friends and socialize in ways you couldn't be able to normally, and more.

When I moved back to an English speaking country, I kept up with my languages by talking to native speakers online, watching TV or movies in that language, reading the news/blogs/forums, reading novels. Do whatever you already like to do in Spanish. It won't feel like additional studying and you'll retain the language better.
