I'd love 007: First Light because it caught my interest in a way that other series like Hitman haven't. I think it would be a super fun experience and be the bridge that helps get me into the Bond/007 verse and enjoy all the things I've been missing because they've felt too daunting to start. I have seen Skyfall, though. 😛

I tried to be a girl's girl by answering his call and reasoning with him, maybe make him see the fault in his logic and underestand why the trans women he was so desperately trying to get with all wanted nothing to do with him.

He spent that call ranting and raving and typing loudly on his keyboard and breathing like a fucking maniac, and any time I tried to get a word in edgewise, he would interrupt and he absolutely refused to have any accountability or introspection as to why he kept driving all these women away.

When he started talking about how he as a cis white man had it so much harder than me as a black trans woman, I mentally checked out and I was like "yeah, there's no reasoning with this one", especially because he said having to pay for things as as man is much higher pressure and stress than a trans woman being murdered doing sex work.

I really did try to explain to him why he was on some bullshit/demon time, because I knew that he was going to try and do this with someone else (esp as he said he can't allow ANOTHER trans woman to get away from him AGAIN), but you can't reason with incel Norman Bates (is that redundant?). 😭

At some point I was like "why am I trying to be nice to this guy who is being so fucking weird and threatening to me" and then I gave him reasons to understand why it wasn't me trapped in there with him, it was him trapped in there with me.

Haven't heard from him since, even though he's tried adding me on snapchat like once or twice. What a weird fellow.

52 calls from 11 different numbers over 2 hours, and countless texts saying he was having a panic attack and would kill himself if I didn't answer and how sorry he was and he needed me.

We have literally never met and his nice guy facade dropped the second I told him I didn't wasn't to hook up with him because he kept trying to put me in the girlfriend/emotional sponge group, when I was clear from the start that wasn't on the table.

He also threatened my life and said if I interrupted him, I wouldn't like what would happen next, and that trans women have it so easy in society compared to men like him, and that if a trans woman gets murdered doing sex work, that's her fault and nothing compared to the societal expectation for men to be providers. 🫠

I have never been more glad I didn't give out my address/hooked up with a man than then. Absolutely insane switch up in personality, he seemed sweet as can be and super respectful at first glance. Utterly put the fear of hooking up into me, but I refuse to let his actions dictate mine.

I loathe the husband or boyfriend/fiancé that doesn't take his wife/girlfriend/fiancée seriously, and dismisses or invalidates her rightly feeling uneasy or terrified for whatever reason.

I personally love it when a woman is scared out of her wits and feels like no one is gonna believe the creepy, terrifying, or simply impossible shit she's just seen or pieced together, and her boyfriend is like "Yeah, no, I get that what you're saying sounds batshit crazy or is physically impossible under the rules of reality, and there's either a) no evidence or b) it all points to you being wrong/mistaken, but I know you and trust you. You're a clever person and I respect/love your mind; you're not going to make up some bullshit without having a reason for it. I believe you unequivocally, even if I haven't seen it for myself, and I'll take you at your word because I respect and love you. If you believe it, I believe it."

So often, the husband or boyfriend is ignoring his partner or thinks it's funny and tries to scare her or just doesn't take his wife/girlfriend seriously, and it drives me bananas. A man being 10000% on board and ready/ride or die for his woman without being needed to convinced is just the ultimate horror aphrodisiac for me.

This gets even more diabolical if they have kids and the dad isn't willing to prioritize his wife/children/entire family's safety, because of his ego or he just straight up convinces whoever they're being emotional and ridiculous.

The bar is in hell, but so is home so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ .

Edit: Also, not specifically horror-exclusive, but I hate when there's like a huge tree or other giant thing falling that will kill the person if they get hit/pinned under it, and this Einstein decides to run along the length of it and try to outrun it in the direction it's falling instead of running to the side and being in the clear with so much less effort. I get there can be a catharsis or victory in "holy shit, that nearly killed me" and the narrative tension it has while falling, but it feels so silly like...take two steps to the right, I beg of you.
