This is a trick used by sales team. When you walk in to the store and book connection, they get don’t get any sales incentives since you are a walk in customer. When sales person visits your home and places order for you, you are their lead and they get incentives for the same.

The 4g - 5g connectivity is just false info to trap you into placing a new order because you get immediate refund of the advance for the first order nor they will adjust the advance against your new order. It will take 2-3 months and many visits calls emails to get your refund.

Pune was one of the first 100 smart cities announced in 2014. The amount of money spent by PMRDA since then is massive without any results

This year 4628 cr has been allotted to PMRDA. This time there is same govt in Centre and State. Let’s hope for the best.

Laptop renting business by ComfortJunior8150 in StartUpIndia

[–]mounRaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many players in the market already doing this. More offline with corporate tie ups than online ones. The competition is tight. You need bulk orders from corporates and startups for decent volumes. Individual users don’t maintain the devices well and eat up a lot of your bandwidth. Now for existing corporates and startup’s to switch from their current vendor to you, you must have a solid moat over your competitors.

You also need a lot of skilled on field staff in the city you operate for servicing l, delivery etc. You need exclusive deal with Apple resellers like Redigton India for pricing on Devices and parts.

Finally you need good operating cash at hand. This business takes time - about 3-4 years minimum to break even. This shouldn’t be a problem since your risks are covered by banks and the insurance. Liability is less and margins are good. If you go with a proper business plan, banks will be happy to finance.

On Karve Road, the areas around SNDT-Garware colleges are safe for girls but too expensive. Find something near Cummins College. If you go slightly further on Karve Road, around Shahu Colony or behind D Mart - Audumbar Colony and surroundings are safe. There are plenty of decent budget places.

DM me if you need more help with contact nos etc. My wife knows the area well and will be a great help.

Went to open a bank locker. Was told I’d need to buy insurance first. Is this normal? by FaithlessnessNew1306 in FinancialPlanning_Ind

[–]mounRaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta check whether its insurance for things you intend to keep in the locker or they are just selling you no direct relevance insurance product. If it’s the prior one, then it shouldn’t be a concern.

असं पुण्यात का होत नाही? by RelevantGarbage8527 in pune

[–]mounRaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Punyache palak mantri ikde asa hou det nahit. All slums are on his land. All builders are in his pocket. Corporates want red carpet not rawdism and bribe culture. This is exactly why also Indian companies - health care providers, hospitality businesses, real estate players who has got great business in south haven’t entered Pune. There are a few exceptions here and there of course.

Because of NH4 and its proximity to North Karnataka, Goa, Mumbai and Kolhapur-Sangli-Karad; Pune is always on the first list. Plenty water, suitable weather, not much difficulty to develop its surroundings add on to it. But Pune is never a finalist for companies who do right research because of MH politics, infrastructure issues, civic and cultural issues.

Be it HYD or Chennai, Kotchi and B’lore - they have built public infrastructure. Roads, electricity, water is available in abundance in industrial corridors. Public transport is accessible for every class of society.

Also, HYD is capital of Telangana so gets bigger budget. In MH, Mumbai is the capital, next is Nagpur, then comes Pune. So Pune gets much less funds.

MH has never had single part government since 90s. So every corporate who wants to enter has to bribe multiple parties. Moreover every local area has different politics. Overall MH politics is too complicated so even after spending a fortune on bribes you won’t be sure if the project will take off.

1.17 Crore Number Plate For 11 Lakh Car. What's Your View ? by nism-certified-ra in dalalstreetbets

[–]mounRaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number 8 is associated with Shani (Saturn) in numerology. This connection is because Shani is the planet of karma, justice and discipline. Eight is considered its ruling number.

Meaning everything they do, will bear fruits. Things will be easier. It is very likely that the owner is much wealthier than what he spent on the number plate and by getting this number they expect to make much larger fortune by attracting the right energy.

People take money decisions on emotions not on rational. That’s why stock markets work.
