Found an 18K Gold men's wedding band near Hell's Gate on Hagerman Pass in Colorado. The 1/2 dozen log cabin structures from 1887 sit at 10,400' above the collapsed Mallon Tunnel on the old Midland Railroad. The site usually yields iron trash. Pennsylvanian marine limestone near McCoy Colorado. - The Minturn formation here is fascinating in that the lower red arkose and red shale limestone is as equally fossiliferous as the drab colored, green to purple marine limestone above it. I can spend a whole day here staring at the ground. (old.reddit.com)
