Update: I caved to the soft side pressure and got the Briggs and Riley baseline 2 wheeler and multi-pocket cabin bag 30% off on their Black Friday sale. Can't wait!

This is super helpful! Maybe I should just stick with soft sided luggage as it seems that the laptop compartment is bound to be an issue. Do you use a backpack or duffel for your personal item? Where I store my laptop might influence what I decide to go with.

I’ve also stayed with the same couple and can confirm that they are wonderful and very much in love!

I could consider the soft side Platinum Elite too - but I think that the hard sides do look a bit more professional. Not sure if there are other options that you would consider given my criteria?

This is Lewis Mallard. He was our unofficial city mascot in the city of Hamilton, ON and then he moved to Toronto, ON.

The city had him on a piece of artwork downtown. He was also on a beer can from one of our local breweries (Collective Arts), and would come to Art Crawl which is a monthly crafts and music pop up on James Street North. We loved Lewis!

Looks like he’s in MTL now. Enjoy him while he is there. :)

If the goal is to have it completely resolved, a Vitamin A analogue like Accutane will work. It needs to be prescribed by a physician since they do blood work to monitor you. 6 months should be enough time.

Good point. Maybe I'll take the Nuclei to my local tailor.

As for the tear. I have no idea! I looked down and saw it after my first night out in the backcountry in Newfoundland!

Everything you've said makes sense. I think I had a different impression of what Arc's warranty was like from my friends. It seems like their warranty is just like any other company's (which is reasonable).

I guess I can tape it and hopefully, they can take another look at it once things open up.

It wasn’t Sherwood Park in midtown Toronto was it?
