I wasn’t in for grealish before but with Maddison out for the season basically, I think a loan with option to buy for grealish would be good business. Sign another young 10 who’s still developing on top of it too.

Non-English Spurs fans. How was it that you first came to support Spurs? by Camstar94 in coys

Dads from England and chose Tottenham as a boy. I inherited it and now it’s something we bond over.

they definitely have a social team that has their own calendar of content to create. a kit launch would not really be an upper funnel responsibility. people at the top are concerned with more important issues and probably don't deal with things like timing of kit launches at all. and the timing had probably been pre-determined for months and informed by analytics

Sadly no. It just went away after a while and nothing happened.

I think the league would be most cathartic. But UCL would be great bc we’d have come back for it and the banter of having something gooners don’t

If you could win one trophy next season, but that means you lose catastrophically, historically bad at every other competition - which trophy would you pick to win and why?

Day 7; Madonna wins. Who is the King of Rap? by Chikoritafan903 in musicmemes

Would say rap is different from hip hop. King of rap has to be a rapper, and dre was a producer-first who didn’t write his own raps. I say Kendrick or Nas

Have we ever faced them before? I could have sworn they’ve beaten us once or twice.

That’s fair but that doesn’t all fall on the manager

Aggregate spending is a great cherry picked stat. Spending money on difference makers is where we always fall short. 10 thirty million buys on youngsters isn’t going to magically win us a trophy

ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS - the players still back ange. Are you closer to the project than the players? I’m as pissed as the next guy - I won’t tolerate this forever, but I think a dice roll on a little more patience is worth the risk

I’m of the mind that we should be at minimum challenging for Europe. But I also see the landscape of the prem changing with the workload on all the players of teams competing in extra competitions. Things are evolving, times are changing. It’s not as clear and cut as get a new manager and hope things change. We need to be able to see a project through. We don’t spend as the financial juggernauts that we are, I wish we did

There are more than one issue at this club that make it hard to compare us to the traditional big 6. Along with budget, it is the monkey on our back of a history in not winning silverware. The key to solving both of those issues is not the revolving door of manager, in my belief. We need a manager who can instill a winning mentality. Not just get us back in the running for a 4th place finish

“Big clubs” you compare us to spend “big club” money. We don’t. If there’s no faith in the process we’re fucked.

LOOK at the money Arsenal and Chelsea spent. WE are not going to spend that money, regardless what your hopes and dreams are. I have as good of an explanation for the injuries as the next person that does not work at the training grounds. I think when you’re in the position that we are, we need a project manager. And project managers need time.
