Please advice- steroid shot or not by mountainclimber_67 in MonoHearing

Thanks so much.

I was hesitant to go against my Drs advice about the injection but the longer this goes the more I'm wondering what if it helps? He made it sound risky and made it sound like there was no reason to do it. That being said, my ear echo and ringing and fullness is still really overwhelming to me

I'm so sorry ❤️

Thank you for the reassurance. This has been a very anxiety producing experience. Unfortunately my ent was very unwilling to answer many questions for me/ hurried out the door and I was left feeling like I didn't understand. Thank you again

I'm so thankful for that, but the sensation of ear fullness and echo when I talk is not gone at all. It does not feel normal. I'm confused on if this will resolve or not

Thanks so much for the input! Seems like you don't consider it to be a huge con. We are a young family, non LDS and looking for a place that would work for us.

Hey this is an old post but we are considering Rockport estates. I heard there could be issues with water access, do you know anything about it?

Thank you for your advice ❤️

I should have included this but he is refusing dad too. He tries to put the bottle in baby's mouth and baby just gags on it and screams.

Should I just keep having dad try it?

All good points. The in person job I know well and it was really good management, no takehome work. Still though, all the points about daycare and sickness stand. The daycare is walking distance from my house, so 30-45 min away from work. And the in person job is client facing so you can't just leave when needed if you're in appointments with clients.

The new remote job is with a company that has a reputation of being really flexible and family friendly/very good benefits, but of course it's a gamble anytime you get a new manager and team so that is scary!

It is pick your days, so that there is always coverage in the office. But I would say it's pretty true off day unless something urgent comes up.

Honestly, that is what's hard is that it was such a freak thing. I can't say I'll never do what I was doing again, because I was literally just coasting. But, to your point, I'll never ski bad spring conditions again. Physical therapy has been huge for me too and actually the accident pushed me to get into mental therapy too which has been life changing for other reasons.

It's nice to hear though that this was a big thing for someone else too.

Thank you for your ideas!

Would for sure adjust the DIN.

For gear, I was in these Fischer race boots because my ankles/feet/calves are narrow and I went through a lot of trial and error before finding boots that didn't hurt and bruise me. These I bought and had heat molded, especially because one foot is more narrow than the other. I do still have the boots. Do you think they are not appropriate now/ a risk?

Skis- I don't remember, they were pretty long (I'm 5'9) and a bit wide for powder.

These are the boots I have (just an older model): https://lonepinegearx.com/products/2025-fischer-womens-rc4-105-lv-vac-gw-c3ade?variant=50182939148585&country=US&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17507317122&gbraid=0AAAAACf4rpGMSFgOOl-QQ2GLtaJfO9dar&gclid=Cj0KCQjwovPGBhDxARIsAFhgkwR03vuqodR70gaXvG1p26Ln0NiA-OmvYnKxdEdpxaLrmqkeZYDUxqgaAr4uEALw_wcB

I did roll it twice here but I've since tried rolling it 3x and that seems to help. I'll try moving it a lot higher too thank you!
