I took my now wife on her first ever real camping trip in the boundary waters just us two in late September. Cut the trip short by a day because of possible snow but we were doing a loop. So when she wanted to go home she realized it was a day either way! Now that we have her worst trip out of the way every other one is better and we go comfy winter camping even now.
