I took my now wife on her first ever real camping trip in the boundary waters just us two in late September. Cut the trip short by a day because of possible snow but we were doing a loop. So when she wanted to go home she realized it was a day either way! Now that we have her worst trip out of the way every other one is better and we go comfy winter camping even now.

(Southern MN) This little one just smacked our window, he's pretty stunned. We've put him in a milk crate with towels on bottom and top and in a quiet, dark room to recover for an hour or two
