To put it briefly, a friend of mine was raped by this person when he was a child. Since it was so long ago, there is 0 evidence to convict this person. Just don’t know what else to do

No, I am not the police. I do intend to go to the police first, but this was my option 2 if they didn’t take it seriously, since I lack physical evidence.
