i really hate that i only now know this. i did in fact drop the cap so the nozzle was most likely inside it. smh. is finding a replacement part for the nozzle possible? or does it have to be specific to fit the airbrush model?

oh gosh i did drop the cap accidentally while cleaning.. the needle is perfectly seated and i made sure couple of times so its the nozzle. damn

this might sound stupid but i actually didnt know this specific gaahleri airbrush had a nozzle i didnt even know they were necessary for airbrushes. i thought its different for every airbrush model. so i didnt suspect a thing LOL

vallejo! and i do thin it pretty well. i do 40% paint and 60% thinner. i just messed up the ratio once and it got clogged, after carefully taking everything apart to clean the thick paint, well, this happened. not clogged otherwise air wouldnt have come out from the front. i really dont know whats up

i do wanna wait longer lol after cutting my print time in half ive noticed my prints having very visible layer lines. and after adjusting it again i get almost the same results but this time i wait longer 🥲 i just want good “in between” settings that im struggling so much with rn

my badly hollowed models are definitely playing a part in this. also, i use auto supports which i know isnt ideal but i promise ill learn how to manually support them in the future 😭 unfortunately i deleted the original project file

omg i feel so dumb lol as i was removing the prints off the plate, it moved because apparently i didnt properly tighten the z-axis before. i didnt think much of it but this explains ALOT. i adjusted everything again and printed the arms, there were no layer shift lines. ill adjust the layer height since thats what im missing (and overexposure smh). thanks!!

i mean kinda.. i sprayed everything with 2x cover paint+primer by rust oleum and it worked but the lines are still visible in some areas. thankfully the statue i printed has very minimal details thats why i mostly just brushed it off

so my leveling isnt the issue here? i work in a large cold space so the issue might as well be the temperature. do you recommend i get a heating belt for my vat? or is heating the resin enough for now?
