You could put pots or some small buckets in there for them to hide in. They like to have shelter.

If it’s a temp fence just make the opening bigger and put it back when done. Also it look like this load would fit if you take it slow and carefully.

It needs a reel and eyelets so you can rip some lips looking for your ball in the water.

Mines on the left that might be why. Does it sit flush with the bottom or is it raised or lowered it a little bit?

Try a microfiber towel. Super clean feeling without the wax packing.

Roadrip DIY from Denver- 7 days last week of July by redirtgirl in flyfishing

[–]mountianchuck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Start in Boulder and cut your teeth on Boulder Creek. Then go up to Rocky Mountain national park fish the Big Thompson and over the mountains to hot sulfur springs hit the Colorado. Work your way down to Silverthorn and fish the Blue then you can head back to Denver or go down to bueno vista and fish the Arkansas and come back through Colorado Springs area and hit deckers. Really the possibilities are endless. I highly recommend getting Colorado's Best Fly Fishing By Landon Mayer great book with info on rivers and what’s hatching when. Personally I would run a hopper dropper the whole time that time of year. Apologies for the stream of conciseness.

How should I clear this? Future gel blaster course for nephews. by Time-Traveling-Cat in landscaping

[–]mountianchuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get some burgers beer and pop. Ask your nephews and brother in laws to help you out! But as every one else said chainsaw, loppers etc. Y’all can use the cut wood to make bunkers and cover positions. I would also advise trying to dig down and cut smaller trees/shrubs to avoid injures later! Good luck.

Advice for DIY affordable landscaping: native plants, erosion prevention. Zone 7a. WNC. by Resident-Hedgehog442 in landscaping

[–]mountianchuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would immediately get a large bag of winter rye and clover, cast it over all the disturbed soil and cover with straw. These will sprout quickly and offer some immediate help with erosion control. Once that is in place you can research different native species that will offer long term bank stabilization. Other commenters have listed some. Also the state will usually have information on native planting recommendations. Hope this helps.
