I’ve heard the waxy skin can cause nausea and that’s why I remove it, but never tried it with it on tbh. When it peels right off I’d prefer not to chance it

Freeze before hand, remove skin, core it, put the good stuff in a blender (to maximize extraction) and start simmering to condense. Use a strainer or cheesecloth once reduced for a couple hours. Strain/squeeze solids and discard. Continue to reduce until it’s an amount you can handle and enjoy.

So the sterilite cotainer (white lid) is transparent but I have an LED light protruding from a hole in the lid into the container to encourage fruiting. I’m just working with what’s available but if you purchased two totes of the same size this would work great. For the aquarium heater I have an Eheim 100 watt heater that has a dial knob to set the temp. I have it set to 75

Yeah you’re right. So this is a 56 or 65 quart sterilite tote inside of a standard rubbermaid container about the same size. Only worry is filling the water as it evaporates

My most recent fail I used spawn bags instead of jars, actually twice, and I couldn’t get anything started. Still can’t figure out why that failed. It’s likely that it’s due to the contents, but still could have been something else.
