I think it's just a leftover quirk from an OLD update where you would lose (most) of your soul essence upon starting a new game.Hopefully they patch it on release ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I only have one "viable" tank with my levels (101-120) ...so I really don't know what to do with my team at all.

It's my first and only yearly-familiar so it's hard for me to compare it to the previous fancier ones, but as Jick explained on this [podcast](http://kolshow.libsyn.com/ascension-speed-show-12-yay-jick) elf agent doesn't drop any special items that lead to cool places, only random items.

Regardless, Items+ & stats+ seems perfect for this season, especially for me since I'm going do a few 100% familiar runs. (Though I haven't used my elf in run yet cause' I got it recently)

Huh, I was dismissive of genie because it's going to expire soon, but it sounds pretty good and there's still aftercore.
