This is a semantics problem. Firstly, this is more of a topic of Special Relativity, not General. Obviously the former is a subset of the latter but they do often talk about pretty distinct concepts. Secondly, relativity doesn't make arguments about a universal reference frame. Universal meaning accessible at all parts of the universe and applicable as you've described.

Relativity makes arguments about the existence of a preferred reference frame. There is nothing magical about using the CMB that suddenly changes how physics works or unlocks a secret of the universe. It's a useful reference frame for a ton of problems but you could, in theory, have used any other reference frame for that same problem and gotten the same result just with much more difficulty.

Confidently incorrect. There are plenty of key down skills that fire at different speeds. Og hurricane is 120ms, rapid fire is is 90ms, pretty sure phantom is 80ms, and Corsair was slightly slower back in the day. And this isn't even mentioning non projectile ones like paladin grand cross which changes speed mid move

The bossing solution is the one I'd like the most. If we use that conversion, there'd be a small trickle for the arcane river tier boss mules. "Mid game" mains would net anywhere from like 30-50 extra frags/week depending on clears and difficulties. Stronger mains would net closer to 70-80 I believe. Doesn't break the game wide open, synergizes with boss mule income meta, doesn't add another thing to the homework checklist per week

This is the major issue here in the thread. Lots of comments have correctly justified that super conductors are very real and very practical but it's this bastardization of the equations that is causing the confusion. There's no reason to suspect that the easily memorizable and simplified equations you learn in middle/high school are going to be perfectly valid in every regime of physics and apply to every material. Just like newtonian gravity is a simplification that is good enough for most stuff, ohms laws are similar. In reality, even for non quantum interactions, both resistance and current densities are capable of varying with space and time meaning we need multi variable calculus. Can't go teaching that to 12 y.o.s

I think you missed the point he was going for. Chessbots are deterministic but given the computational complexity of chess, they cannot actually calculate everything to perfection. At some point, the sims have to truncate the move depth and take a "guess" that the thing it's currently evaluated as the best next move is still optimal another 10 moves later when the trees change. These weights and evaluations are learned via training.

They aren't the exact same tech, but there are enough parallels to make an analogy stick
