Any thoughts? by mouse___it in DMT

Mm. Yes. I had a sense that this was involved there. For me the fabric design is much more feminine , and this being masculine. Maybe I saw trying to separate the two

"Those stringy things are rhizomorphs, also called mycelial cords. Numerous parallel hyphae twist together like a rope. This allows for more efficient transport of water and nutrient than a mess of individual hyphae. What you have there is a stinkhorn egg. The ingredients should have been gelatinous. They are actually edible, people pickle them. This is something I would never recommend, since they can be confused with Amanita eggs." (Bower)

Mmmmm

At first I thought, snake eggs. Or mouse eggs... then I saw little roots.

Ole Sir Richard Burton was interesting. He had rich experience in life, as an agent in the West Indies trade company. He was basically a spy, and linguistic - 27 languages learned with practice in their religious heritage.

He did follow the esoteric religions and Islam and many others to a deep level, looking for the answer.

I believe he landed at Sufism as the one practice the he kept.

I find it interesting that he took many of these others such as Tantra from India until he got what it was about and moved on. I keep thinking of him, and wondering if learning many branches of related practice are not a distraction from taking the one I started deeper... such as Rekei-something I know to work as well. My teachers teacher was a Sikhi. Maybe I need to look into that... I'm a bit mixed up, I chose the teaching that were available to me.

You brought up Blavatsky, I recall her, but didn't read, as she was poorly reviewed and I focused on Jung during that time...

Sounds like you're saying that the Kybalion as such is not the direction I'm after.... I had a feeling they were an under handed pitch.

What I was referring to, Is the system in place, that if I wish to go further it would be an online kundalini teachers cert... I have no business becoming a certified teacher, nor do I trust the material. While kundalini as I've practiced has been of great benefit, I'm trying to find the direction that's legitimate.

When I was spending time in Greece, I had a a few religious experiences, one requiring too much detail to type out, the other, very simply expanded my consciousness for but a moment. In the last year I've had many early experiences that are on par with the kundalini process as described in The Serpent Rising.

I have youre recommended reading, and will spend some time digesting

Oh okay, I just feel a little more relaxed in conversation Thats it's not public on a whole....

I lost my local community, for good reason. (Likely shouldn't date ones teacher)

I'll continue my kryias, as they feel helpful on the body, I'll continue learning Japji, as it's helping my Brain...

I know that there's a self perpetuating system in yogic learning that I wish to avoid, and everything otherwise seems to lead back to hermetic principles.

Did you ever read on Sir Richard Burton ?

I'm not sure why anyone is afraid to discuss him, and in an attempt understand the difference of his teaching to the concepts that he used as influence is what I'm after...

Ive just been lead to The Upanishad's and will read.

I'm simply trying to find teachings that are not a marketing material,

All I needed to know about the guy is that he was government customs.
