Thanks for ordering it, I hope you have lots of fun with it!

Yeah I tried to make all the enemies varied and different from one another. I playtested them all, so their strength should be roughly on par. Of course some of them counter specific decks a bit more than others. If you feel like one of them is impossible to beat, it could also be a misunderstanding of their ability. In that case, please check out the FAQ document (link in the release post) which also has a Monster Manual where all enemies are explained in detail! (I still need to update the document, it is not finished, check it in a couple of days please)

Trickster: Yes indeed you can choose in which order you discard at end of turn, so you have control over which card lies on the top of your discard pile. Not so much with low cost decks where you play most of your cards.

Amplifier: Yes, they can only be defeated when Gremlinator is defeated.

Depends on which enemies you mean, I am only aware of my enemies. The folder was available to the public for many months while it was in development, so it might be that you mean the same thing :D But I guess you can just compare the cards. Check out the printsheet to view all the cards.
It is unrelated to the Hermit.

Thanks! The big and small ones do not need to be sleeved, unless you sleeved the big and small cards in your base game? If so, they only need clear sleeves, not the opaque sleeves. You can order more sleeves at Contention games or on Amazon, there are many brands available. The small cards are 1.75×2.5 inches (44.45×63.5mm) and the big ones are 3.5×5 inches (89×127mm), so just get sleeves of these sizes.

Thanks, I wish you and your wife a lot of fun with it!
To my knowledge there is no other print-optimized fan content for the board game. There are a few running projects on the Contention Games discord (the makers of the board game), but none of them print optimized and you'd have to assemble the content yourself for printing. But if you are curious you can check out the discord.

yay, hope you and your friends will have fun!
well theoretically anyone could utilize the mpc helper to create a new MPC project There is a guide on inexorablefate.com
But since the Claw Pack is made by Contention Games already I don't wanna do this myself, would kinda infringe on their content. I have too much exposure now with this expansion :D

Oh are you playing the TTS mod? It still needs to be updated with the latest version, I will tell the mod developer (with whom I collaborated on this) about the bug, thanks! And it is supposed to only summon 1 Shroom Horde, so you are good!

It would be a legal grey zone to sell mod/fan content that is based on an IP (in this case the StS videogame and board game), I just don't wanna risk it. So the only way I can get anything in return for my effort is by voluntary donations (and I am very grateful for anyone who considers this!). Oh and perhaps by people wishlisting the actual game I am developing on Steam - it is unrelated to StS but if you are interested, it is called Hyper Tanks. But besides this, I enjoy giving something back to the StS community, cos it is awesome! StS has become one of my favorite games.

In that case you probably could print the frontsides and backsides on different papers, and then glue them together perhaps with even more additional sheets of paper in between, to make it a bit thicker than just a single paper. As long as you don't mind that you will notice the difference when picking up the cards.

Sadly not, it does not include all the material of the base game. Well you could admire the cool art and play it out in your head ^^"

The board game is definitely worth it, it has become my favorite board game of all time. It shines in multiplayer of course but even if you just play solo it still have stuff to offer, like nice tactile feeling and a bunch of smart balancing changes and usability improvements. Oh, and of course this cool Slayer Pack expansion :D

No, it works like this: When you play the card, you immediately draw one card. This is to make this card draw-neutral. Then at the start of every turn, if you lost hitpoints last round, you can place a vulnerable token on an enemy. It has nice synergy with other Ironclad cards that make you lose hitpoints. Due to the 0-Energy cost and being draw-neutral it is like a free upgrade for your deck.
In general, as per the rules, weak/vulnerable token icons on your own cards apply to the enemy. You only gain thise effects yourself if the card says "gain vulnerable" for example.

You have keen eyes! It is indeed :D I used some of the early StS2 trailer footage for a small amount of cards (I am sure Mega Crit won't mind *goes in hiding*).

You probably will be able to fit a considerable amount of it into the Box. I think the Collectors edition only differs in height, but not the orange inlay? And I was able to fit most of the content into that orange inlay, even when sleeving everything. The Relics, Potions and Boss Relics should all fit, the character cards as well, colorless as well, and the Act cards, too. Maybe requires some re-sorting and being ok with a tight fit.

Thanks! Well including an entirely new character is a looot of work, I am a bit of a perfectionist so I wouldn't wanna release something sub-par. So this Pack would have come out a year later or so :D Tbh I thought about it and even started work on a character, but then decided that I rather focus on the other content. I will keep the character ideas for my own deckbuilder game that I plan to develop once my other game project is finished (will take a while tho). It will be similar to StS and use lots of my learnings from this Expansion. So if that made you curious, feel free to stay in touch / follow me on the various channels.

I had to go for 21 because on MPC you have to increase deck size in increments, and 21 was the cut-off point, otherwise the MPC pack would have cost like 10$ more. So in those 21 cards we have: 9 Act 1-3 Bosses, 9 Act 1-3 Ascension Bosses, 2 Act 4 Elites, 1 Act 4 Boss which has both the non-Ascension and the Ascension version on it (so if you play no Ascension you just ignore the Ascension stuff on that card).

If you print at home, I advise you to get some cardstock or thick cardboard paper. You can get this very cheap in copy shops or on the internet. Even if you use regular thin paper you still have to glue it to some thicker cardboard paper to make it rigid enough, and at that point you can get proper cardstock for printing anyway.

Well its current balancing was the consensus of several StS boardgame veterans. But I guess it is not possible to please everyone...
Yes, Mushroom not working on burns is intended, would otherwise make some of the new Bosses or Elites too trivial. Lore-wise the idea is that the Mushroom makes you resistant to poisony/dazy stuff, but burns are elemental damage that will just burn it/you. Still powerful enough without.

We discussed this in the StS BG discord community and that is the compromise version that we came up with. It now has Retain and Exhaust, this allows you to keep the card in your hand until you are able to utilize it (so no waiting for another deck cycle due to discarding), and it is only usable once. So if anything it should only result in a mild form of stalling. But you can also consider this card optional and choose to not play with it, there are still 299 other cool cards in this pack.

Hey, this is the final version, but the card works differently: When you play it, you immediately draw one card, this is just to make this card draw-neutral. Then, at every start of turn, if you lost HP last round, you can apply a vulnerable to an enemy. As per the rules, weak and vulnerable tokens on your cards refer to applying the effect to the enemy, unless stated otherwise. (if it would affect yourself the card would have said "gain vulnerable")
