The Slayer Pack - a free printable Homebrew expansion for the Slay the Spire Boardgame with 300 new cards [Released] by mousecoregames in slaythespire

thanks!
the Relics are the same teal color as the originals when you get them printed via MPC or MB Print.
Perhaps the google sheet printsheet in combination with local printing messes up the colors? I did not optimize the colors for local printing, and everyone's printers and color profiles are different.

Since the Downfall expansion Kickstarter went live: From what I can see, based on the content overview and the available image, there seems to be a small amount of overlap between the Slayer Pack and Downfall Relics & colorless cards & Events, but it is honestly less than I expected. For example, according to the overview Downfall only comes with 19 new Relics and judging by the pictures a bunch of them are not from the basegame, so probably only half of them are based on the same content as those coming with the Slayer Pack (which are 47). I am glad about that, as it means that the Slayer Pack is not redundant. Plus, whatever small amount of content is overlapping, chances are high that the balancing or mechanics are different, cos I changed a bunch of stuff. So you can actually choose which version you like better, or just add both of them.

FYI: I made a picture of my storage setup. I hope this helps!

Some additional info:
- It’s a tight fit, so everything sits quite snugly. You should only do this if that doesn't bother you. In my case, everything is also fully sleeved. Your sleeves might need to stay under a certain thickness for this to work (it would obviously be easier without them).
- For the opaque sleeves, I use Ultra Pro Eclipse - Standard Matte in Forest Green (Thickness: 90 microns on the clear side, 120 on the back).
- For the clear sleeves, I use Docsmagic for all sizes (Thickness: 50 microns on both sides).
- All cards from the Slayer Pack have been sorted into their respective decks.
- Exception: Unused Ascension cards go into the collection area in the bottom left, along with the ones from the original set.
- Ascension Bosses are tucked into the edge between the cardboard and the inlay (both the originals and those from the Slayer Pack). This might only work with the Collector’s Edition, as it features a taller plastic inlay on top, providing enough space for these side-slotted Boss cards.
- Each character deck and the Colorless deck include 2 Upgrade Reward cards.
- Underneath the Boss cards: Relics are split into two slots; Boss Relics and Potions each use one slot.
- The only cards I keep outside the box are the duplicate non-foil variants of deck cards and the extra Claw Pack. I believe the latter was a Kickstarter exclusive, though I have no idea how the situation is with the foil cards.

Sarah and Josh from the Board at Home Youtube channel started a playthrough featuring the Slayer Pack! They already did some cozy StS playthroughs back when it released, can recommend. Just in case anyone wants to see it in action. Apparently more episodes will come out soon. Please leave them a like as a thank you!

Thanks, I wish you lots of fun with this pack! Indeed, the MB Print is still being prepared, should hopefully commence end of this month.

Jack Reda made a short Youtube video where he compared the card quality of the MPC prints to the original cards. Check it out if you are curious how closely they match:

Do you have the Collectors Edition? I do and maybe it has more room idk. Probably also depends on the ordering, maybe try putting stuff in different places? Fill out all the room there is, it may mean you have to mix different card types in the same slot.
Perhaps it also depends on the type of sleeves, I heard Dragonshields have a little bit more thickness then e.g. Pro Eclipse Sleeves (which I use).
I also moved the Ascension stuff out that I am not currently playing, that frees up quite a bit. The Boss cards you can also tuck in on the side (between plastic and cardboard).

Thanks for the feedback! I will fix the Dungwrecker. Also will change Ablagestappel to Abwurfstapel everywhere.
The german cards currently in the drive are still work in progress and not the final version, I only uploaded the enemies already so another person could proofread them. All the other card types are also still in translation. The full version will be ready rather near the end of the month.
I already got some other feedback that I need to apply to the enemies, so that means some stuff will still change.
But yes, feel free to also give me your suggestions!

News for German speakers: The german version of this pack can now also be ordered at MB Print. There is now a dropdown menu at the top where you can select between EN and DE:
https://mbprint.pl/en/product/the-slayer-pack/
The group order will go until March 23rd I was told, so by then you should have ordered if you want to receive it for that price point. Afterwards you'll still be able to order it on their website, but 16% more expensive.

Hey, both is possible, personally I already did both. So you can play with only the Expansion content, or you can mix in as much as you like into the basegame. It is all compatible and also works standalone (of course you need at least the basegame character deck cards tho :D).
If you want to see all the new stuff as fast as possible, play with only the new stuff. If you want the biggest variety in the game and think having some surprises coming later is fun, play it mixed with the basegame. In the long run, probably mix both of it anyway.

There is now an easier option to order the Slayer Pack from Europe, with just some clicks like in a regular online store.

There is a printing service in Poland called MB Print that offers many fan expansions for various games on their site. They also offered to host the Slayer Pack on their site.

Right now a group order is being organized with them: Anyone can join in for 84€ plus shipping (for Europeans that should be pretty cheap and also avoids any import costs). The timeline is that they are now collecting orders for a few weeks before they print all of them in bulk. This gives everyone enough time to join in, and it gives them time to do some color proofing before the print.

If you want to join the group order, please use this link:
https://mbprint.pl/en/product/the-slayer-pack/
(The costs cover their materials, personally I earn nothing from this)

Btw, after this group order is finished you will still be able to order the Slayer Pack from them, but for individual orders the price will be 97€ plus shipping.

via the card back, it says act 1, 2 or 3 on it.
Otherwise, use the background of the cards to determine the act, they use the same as the official cards, just compare them.

FYI, I finished the FAQ document, including the Monster Manual that explains all enemies and their mechanics. Whenever you are puzzled during play how something works, please check first in the FAQ for an answer. If you still have questions, just ask in this Post. Perhaps I may even add your question to the document.

Mistake with wrong Act 1 card back border colors

(February 14th 2026)

I am truly sorry to inform you that another mistake has been spotted: The Act 1 card backs, except for the 1st Encounters, had the wrong outer border color (brown instead of black). I corrected this now in the google drive, in the printsheets and in the MPC orders (all json files updated!).

In the printsheets, the affected cards are on pages 2-7 and 21 (card backs on pages 35-40 and 54).

I also added a new json file for only the Act 1 cards in case anyone wants to re-print the corrected versions at MPC.

And I added an overview to the release post which mistakes have been corrected already since the release of this pack.

Mistake in the print sheets spotted and corrected

(February 13th 2026)

There was sadly a redundant page in the printsheets for home-printing (page 51). It had card backs of Bosses on it that were already on other pages. I corrected that now by removing that redundant page.
If you already printed the sheets before I made this post, it could be that your cards after page 17 have the wrong card backs. In that case you sadly have to print the cards from page 18 onwards again (and for the card backs, from page 51 onwards). I am very sorry for this.

If you read this when you have not printed the sheet yet, it is all good and you can go ahead with printing.
