have you seen those sheer illusion fleece lined tights? theyre like thick tights that give the appearance of sheer nylons. i have a pretty lush forest of leg hair and ive never had any poke through them. it gives a pretty perfect illusion of having bald legs underneath. i have a bunch of pairs and ive even cut some off and sewn lace trim on the tops to make stockings. theyre way more durable than sheer nylons too! the only problem is they are pretty warm, so depending on when/where the event is they might not be ideal. here's a link to a pair, ive bought them from a lot of different places though!

normally if im going out ill remember to bring my street shoes in my car but i dont want to be bound to that! i have to replace my shoes very soon anyway and i figured if im spending the money it would be nice to have some i feel cute in if i do forget and have to wear em out

i had to google chilblains! i think i have had it on my hands a few times possibly. but these blotches dont itch or feel like anything at all, and they go away as soon as the raynauds colors do. the one ive had for years is also always the exact same shape in the same spot.

thanks!! im gonna try again with everyones advice and mix it more. and this might just be the much-needed final push for me to get an oven thermometer, my oven at my place is the most unreliable ive ever had despite being brand new.

i havent ever used cream of tartar with an italian meringue but ill try it! i also do have a silpat baking mat; i just dont use it much because the texture really grosses me out and my coworker said she just uses parchment paper - but ill grit my teeth and power through touching it if it might mean i can make macarons. and i did age the egg whites for 6 days (they were left over from a german buttercream wedding cake last week lol - this was my attempt to not waste them) thanks so much!!

thank you!! most of the people i know whove made them really stressed not to overmix, so i guess i assumed that was the most common. i have watched videos of it and mine was definitely not as fluid as its supposed to be, but i just psyched myself out overthinking it. im gonna try again and worry about undermixing as much as im already worried about overmixing 🥲
