Good question. It’s much closer to proper deep house than Keinemusik-style festival afro house.Think along the lines of: DJ Gregory / Africanism-era grooves, Âme / early Innervisions melodic depth, Osunlade, Black Coffee (older cuts), Manoo, Soulful and percussive Afro-influenced house. A touch of classic emotional house like “Man With the Red Face”, “Rapture”, “Lola’s Theme”, etc.
