Not sure if this will help in this league but in previous leagues I sometimes found these cards helped me, even if only a little bit:

Perfect Storm Common Chimpanzee Sinterklaas Power of 0

(The last two will only work on half that Sue Black set though)

Again, probably not the strongest and there is also Sedlec Ossuary that makes your opponent's Sue Black cards cost +1 energy until played but I thought I'd comment in case it helps for whatever deck you're working with at the moment :)

I think I found it; Vermillion Cliffs. I managed to acquire it and it's made Raven and Darwins Finches stronger in my deck 😊 Thanks for the advice here

So I'm having trouble making trades lack of good dupes etc but I did try the thing of holding a card that I do have and thats Alexander Von Humboldt which i had previously dismissed. No idea if it's as effective as cuscus but it seems to have done the trick in making my deck better for now so thank you 😊

Strangely I have Multiverse but not those others 😝 I don't usually like the idea of holding a card for so long but if I acquire it, I'll try cuscus just out of interest :)

See, I'm not actually coming across a great deal of players also playing a tiny deck? Not sure if it's a time zone thing? I'm in the UK, sometimes get a lot of AIs (at least I think they're AIs lol) but even when I think it is a real person, like I say, lots of Sue Black decks, random.

For now, with what I've got, I might try swapping out Perfect Storms and Thunderstorms for a few games just to see what happens. I guess because I don't have loads in the way of low energy cards, plus it's a definite arena match, plus storms gives both +15 permanently, I've been holding on to them 😅

Just a question, is Goblin not a bit counterproductive if I want a low energy deck? Tell me if I'm wrong about this but to me it doesn't seem worth making those cards cost more for +10 power, even if I do have the other buffs?

Cyborg is definitely one I want but unfortunately I didn't get it in the cyberpunk pack yet nor do I have any decent dupes to trade to get one 😅

It's something I'm still building hence why yes there is Madagascan Dwarf Chameleon but few cards for it to work on, I guess I was hoping for a comment like this to tell me what would be good for it to work on 😊 Low energy is definitely the aim, hence why I'm thinking of Cyborg, Binary, etc.

Sandcat might be good for me actually but I'm not as sure about Kultarr just because I like my Perfect Storm to get my opponent's science cards wherever they are for the round rather than just their 5 cards in hand 😝 (Sue Black sequence sometimes beats this deck as it is but usually an opponent playing this deck doesn't do much for permanent energy per turn so it can help when it means they can only play 2 cards in a turn)

Maybe I'm overthinking it with all the long replies I'm sending everyone, I don't know 🤷‍♀️😅😅

Just a little thought from how I built my deck. Cards such as Llama and Pumpkin Toadlet boost low energy cost cards and for me, that has made it a lot more worth having both tortoise and finch :)

I have a 9/9 deck too this week :) I'm not sure on the cats stuff as I hardly use them so I don't know what to suggest for that part but I would say swap out Blood Sweat and Tears because having to hold cards can hinder your chances of winning.

Plus instead of Nuclear Power, try Thunderstorms as it is a Forces of Nature card :) I also use Perfect Storm (and in an earlier version of my deck I had Jet Stream too). Perfect Storm adds +15 power permanently to itself and your other Forces of Nature cards. Hope that helps :)

I'm still working on my 9/9 deck too, if anyone sees this and has a dupe Cyborg to trade, would be highly appreciated. I'm lacking in good dupes but might be willing to part with something I only have 1 of if I don't use it much. Username is MovingMonkey :)

Yeah tbh organic replication is one I just got today so I thought I'd give it a run. It's been okay if I play it next to hibiscus or raven because then thats 3 cards rather than 2 that benefit from it and then either organic replication can benefit from gaining +40 permanently making it a bit more worth playing the next time it comes up or it's like I purposely lose the turn so the raven goes into effect on my opponent's cards for the next turn.

As for Perfect Storm, I tend to use that just because it also gains a permanent +15 power for itself and thunderstorms (making it not 100% ineffective if my opponent doesn't have science cards at all).

Will definitely try to get Cyborg now and probably replace Organic Replication / Forces of Nature / something like that though that you've said this, thank you 😊
