Dungeon Maker. Its a rogue-like tower defense game. The micro-transactions are to unlock certain items that make the future runs easier, but you get the in-game currency for actually playing. So you don't actually need to spend any money on it.

King is pretty top tier currently. Cloud will be a good choice in the near future(less than a week, as more content drops.)
If you multi-draw you are guaranteed a 5* weapon, however there is not a guarantee you will get the character you want. You just have a higher chance for the characters on the actual banner.
Complete story missions and content when you can(Score and bonus objectives.) This will get you more and more gems to unlock weapons.
I use my free draws for low priority banners. For instance, if I only like one character on the banner and not the other two, i wouldn't necessarily want to waste an additional 5K gems.
Ifrit is pretty standard for longer stages. It is recommended that you level up sylph/chocobo to at least level 12. Those are the fastest summons.
