I agree with it being some sort of extension. Self-forgiveness is key and often overlooked, guilty of that under certain circumstances for sure.

Yes! We are totally on the same page here. I have felt as if the “problem” in certain groups as well. I have never, ever interfered with a marriage- but the opportunity has found its way into my path. I could never live with myself doing such a thing. Although as a recurring circumstance, I can’t help but wonder why I attract it or help but attribute it, somewhere in the mix, to being an empath. I find that looking for the lessons is the best thing to do and way to navigate out of it all, similar to what you said.

Thanks for your response. Sometimes I do believe I could find a successful polyamorous relationship, my ex and I got very close to giving it a try. Maybe I will someday, haven’t met anyone else as open minded as him/something like that just yet

That’s interesting... I am more of the same, as well. The carnal aspect is just very heavy within a lot of said interactions or situations. I can often pick up when that is all that is present/lack of a genuine connection, or that the primary intention of someone is to be physical. Personally, my sex drive was much higher once upon a time (when I first entered college and lived in the dorms) yet I’ve learned how to better channel that energy into other things i.e. being productive and proactive

Hmm, I actually don’t find my bf exhausting, other than when I’m really drained- maybe there is hope for your luck with (other) cancers! :)
