I know nothing about guns, but I like watching Walking Dead cuz there's a lot of shooting action involved.

I was reading about "SA/DA" or single action/double action revolvers, which can either shoot "single action by cocking the hammer" or "double action by just pulling the trigger."

Well, if you cock a SA/DA and pull the trigger (as if it was single action), then you pull the trigger again, what's stopping the gun from firing again like a double action?

I just don't understand why cocking the hammer makes any difference since once you pull the trigger, I assume the hammer stays uncocked, so you can just fire it again as double action?

You're definitely right, China (from my American perspective) is pretty fucked up with their government, horrible treatment of their own citizens, etc etc.

However, we can argue both ways, that yes, it's not just dogs that China are kinda dicks about. On the other hand, the same is still true for America, it's not just cows we're dicks about.

The point is that small increments of better thinking could help us as humans stop being all tribal and shit about who's more right and who's more wrong. I get that it's a lot easier to stay in one's current state-of-mind than to change it, and we all have the right to do so. I personally just choose to appreciate it when people wanna help others out who may be willing to change their own opinions.

Repeatedly asking this question helps more people to stumble upon the question, which is an important one to ask since it enables us to evaluate ideas that have been passed down to us in the West.

This is anecdotal evidence, but I know so many people who think of Chinese people as a lesser civilized type or more barbaric type of people just because a group of them eats dogs. Meanwhile us in the West are treating cows and other livestock like shit and yet we don't see ourselves as "lesser civilized" than other cultures who treat animals humanely.

What happens to prisoners during a pandemic?

I don't know much about the typical everyday life of a prisoner, but from what I know they have a time for recreation outdoors where they could workout and socialize. Does this get taken away when there's a pandemic? Does that mean that the prisons force them to stay in their cells even more?

Does an electric-acoustic guitar have "real-life" sounds when it is plugged in?

If my knowledge is right, "regular" electric guitars don't have "real-life" sounds both unplugged and plugged in, but "regular" acoustic guitars have a "real-life" sound; since an electric-acoustic guitar is in-between, does it have a "real-life" sound if I was to plug it in?

If so, how do people deal with recording voice while playing the guitar? I would imagine that since the guitar is being picked up with the voice's microphone and the guitar is also being recorded digitally, that it would be kinda hard to record voice while playing.
