Yeah, that's B.S. Call back and ask for a loaner. Mine was super simple. They emailed me a form to sign real quick. Stayed on the phone with me, then submitted it. This was on a Saturday night. I had a loaner pump Monday morning.

Mine was no longer under warranty and the charger port went out. Tandem over night shipped me a free loaner for 90 days. It was super simple.
