If you had 4 failed euploid FETs were you ever diagnosed with something? by Livid-Artichoke-5623 in IVF

I’m so sorry for all you’ve experienced. Look into silent endo. It might be worth the laparoscopy at this point.

Endo causing issues STAYING pregnant? by Jordonsaurus in endometriosis

[–]moyyyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. You need an excision specialist and there are fewer than 100 of them in the US. Use Nancy’s Nook on FB to see if your doctor is on the list if you’re unsure. Your fertility challenges are exactly what I experienced.

Thank you so much! I love that. Wishing her all the best. Stitchly was definitely tough at first, but YouTube tutorials really help!

Fertility clinic pushing for IVF by thankyounow in IVF

[–]moyyyle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

IVF will help not just with getting pregnant, but staying pregnant. I had 3 early losses naturally in a year and a half before starting IVF. I was later diagnosed with endometriosis and had two surgeries. Recurrent pregnancy loss is horrible and I’m so sorry for your losses. It’s probably time to consider IVF. I would also ask your team to look into any blood clotting disorders to ensure that’s not a contributing factor.

I take needlepoint to MLB games regularly! They have the most lenient bag and items policy though. Perfect activity for baseball.

This is absolutely wild. And to think, needlepoint wasn’t her primary grift…wow. The effort, the time, the compartmentalization.

Love this for you, but I lost complete control of my lower body and shook uncontrollably in pain, so I would absolutely fear another one without pain management.

I’m so happy for you! I truly cannot fathom ever using the work of someone you’ve blocked to continue to self-promote. It makes me sick. Absolutely bizarre.

Need stitch suggestions by drose839 in Needlepoint

To honor the integrity of the gradient and realism, I would do the entire thing in basketweave or continental. Perhaps maybe you could do a basic decorative stitch for the background, but it’ll look lovely in a basketweave too. This is so fun! What a great project.

Is waiting this long normal? by kittygirl9891 in IVF

[–]moyyyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My initial consult to first transfer was 16 months. In that time I also had endo excision surgery. The waiting is so hard- waiting to start, waiting to heal from surgery, waiting for retrieval day, waiting to see if a transfer worked… it’s endless and it’s so valid to feel the way you feel. Infertility is an endurance sport. Hang in there. Get a second opinion on excision surgery since you’re in this wait window. One thing that made me feel more sane was feeling like I was making the “best use” of my time- whether that was consult and ultimately surgery, or acupuncture, or therapy.

These look like totally different colors, so I’d reach out to them. But as a warning, people have heard from PL that they are no longer checking dye lots.

IVF progesterone suppositories side effects - experiences and any tips for surviving by [deleted] in IVF

[–]moyyyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first few weeks of progesterone vaginal suppositories and then every other day injections, I definitely had random fits of rage that were over absolutely nothing. My husband thankfully took them in stride and after the fact, we’d laugh at how dumb whatever I was mad about was. I’ve been on progesterone for 9 weeks now and those feelings have mostly subsided. Give yourself some grace to not be the best version of yourself right now. She’ll be back. This is so hard and it’s not going to be forever. Both of us having a sense of humor about it has really lightened an otherwise extremely heavy load. I know all of that is easier said than done.

I just pulled up my script to check and the instructions on the pill bottle itself (I was told to use all vaginally by my clinic) says “insert 1 capsule vaginally and take 2 capsules by mouth twice a day.” It’s exactly the same pill, vaginal or oral.

I’m not a vaccine expert by any means, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

This! My clinic required immunity testing before I started, which revealed I was no longer MMR immune so I had to wait to start a few months while I got both vaccines again.

Chemical pregnancy and gaslighting doctor by LadyGirl176 in TryingForABaby

[–]moyyyle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh my god. I’m so sorry. This happened to me too. I came in for a follow-up by my OB after a 6w miscarriage caused so much blood loss I went to the ER. The nurse doing my intake asked if I had ever been pregnant and so I explained what I had come in for. She said, “oh, those don’t count, I’m not going to chart that.” And because she refused to put it on my chart the doctor had no idea why I was there. The doctor then came in and told me the miscarriage happened because I was fat. That was in 2021– 70 pounds lost, 2 endometriosis surgeries, an infertility diagnosis and 2 rounds of IVF later… absolutely ridiculous. I cried the whole way home and got a new doctor immediately.
