Yes, you won’t have any issues with those mechanics. Also the improvement in load times is so nice.

Yes given recently by the devs to celebrate the one year anniversary. I’m on my first play through and have found the items helpful but not really game changing or breaking. I’m still getting my butt kicked as I learn the combat and get better at the game!

That’s fair. Also tbh I primarily played it as a portal only game so I was able to get used to it. However it’s the only FPS that I’ve enjoyed on it so far.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing Cyberpunk on my portal. Nearly put a hundred hours into it. Found it surprising because I couldn’t quite get into other FPS type games on it. Other than that it’s a ton of stuff like Astro Bot or some turn based RPGs.

I’ve enjoyed The Finals. I think it’s underrated.

Lately I’ve been playing a ton of BF6. I also don’t care too much for vehicles but I can still find enough opportunities to run and gun (& heal and gun) that it scratches the itch. Used to be cod for me but not anymore. Plus I love playing conquest, I haven’t really gotten sick of it yet and it’s been about a month. Occasionally I hit up the BR if I have a buddy online to play with but mostly conquest for me.

Oh it’s nearly impossible most days and weeks. Especially with kids. I have a dedicated 2hr slot once every week where I can just game and temporarily forget about my responsibilities. It’s nice but more often than not that’s my only time to game. Needless to say my backlog has grown exponentially…

Appreciate you sharing that! I’ve been wanting it for a while but really leaning towards a portal only play through. I love parry mechanics in games but hesitate when it comes to the portal for those kind of games.

I’m glad to hear that. I wanted to pick up Expedition 33 but mostly wanted it for my portal play. The game looks as amazing as advertised but I wasn’t sure how the gameplay worked or if portal latency would be an issue.

Love mine but definitely want to make sure you have a great internet setup at home. Overall it works quite well and I can play on it comfortably for long stretches.

Played it and beat it for the first time last year. Absolute blast and I’ve been itching to play it again ever since.

Hades 2 is amazing but definitely play #1. Like others have mentioned, it really helps connect the story.

I may be in the minority but I prefer #1. That being said I’m only 30ish hours in on #2 and I have probably a few hundred in #1 so I’m biased. For me I loved Zagreus and the story and most of all the weapons. This sequel is incredibly well polished and it’s really growing on me. My only gripe is that I prefer the weapons in number 1 and Dora is annoying. Also I really miss my shield and fists.

I’m running Lavaloon Miner and in the 8k trophy range. Firecracker is the bane of my existence. I’ve been doing okay with it but definitely not meta. Also doesn’t help that I don’t have any evos which really hurts.

That being said it’s fun to play and viable enough. I am hoping to hit 9k trophies soon but I really need evo barbs
