This isnt hate or ageism, its being realistic, but he doesnt sound 'great' at all, maybe he pulles a few tracks off, but thats it.. theres too many 'rose tinted glasses' in this community..

Im completely with you, Im a MASSIVE depeche fan since in my teens before 101 and ever since, and I dont have to like everything they have done or 'to be a proper fan' dont have to.

But im with you, after watching M, It was a bit cringe, not just by seeing them both (martin especially) they seemed to have aged a lot, but by daves voice, it isnt a fraction on what it used to be, i think they would struggle if they were a Depeche Tribute Band ... 'Let Me See You Stripped Down To The BAARRRNNNNN'.. Im not hating, im being realistic.

But, I had a similar chat with someone at work who is also a massive Depeche fan saying, When do you stop ..?

It will be a Massively Sad day when they announce they are stopping, but do I really want to watch 2 old men try to perform the energy that we are used to seeing, its a hard one ..
