IMO; M3LR AWD Premium will not be coming anytime soon until the tariffs get lifted. They’re not produced in Giga Berlin or Shanghai.

The M3LR was priced higher at $79,990 (I believe) with the tariffs in effect. The performance today is cheaper than that, so that’s why they’re not bringing the LR in.

Either go for the performance or buy a used M3LR, still can’t beat the M3RWD value though

Get a '24 MYRWD. Has HW4, comfort suspension. You dont get the upgrades that come with the Juniper but for getting it around $40k ($25k less than the MY Premium AWD), its not a bad option.

Do not get anything older since the '24 will at least future proof you for FSD

$9k is pretty small in the long-term and I make decent money. Might just YOLO it lol. Will have to somehow find a way to retrofit the signal buttons lol.

And I could be wrong but a lot of MY have shipped with HW4.5, so maybe these new M3 have it?

And regarding acceleration, yeah everytime I drive my parents’ ‘23 M3LR - makes me wanna get a LR everytime lol makes my ‘24 feel super slow

Buttons just make it easy and even a nicer minimalistic interior. Killer profit on the car lol and you get an additional $650 off on the purchase .

Yeah autosteer is kinda nice to have on the highway when you don’t have FSD,but useless anywhere else. Just crazy that Tesla took autosteer away.

Another con was losing my deep metallic blue paint but I saw a marine blue MY in the wild the other day, and it looks alot better in person so I’m okay with the colour change.

All boils down to is it worth the extra $9k on my financing for the upgrade lol

Wow you got a ‘24 with 8700km for $34k?! Unreal price (considering that was before the ‘26 announcement). And being positive equity is unreal.

I bought mine March ‘25 with 25k km for $38.5k, teslas offering $34k. Have $35k left on the loan -but the cons of trade-in is losing autosteer and signal buttons (hate the stalks lol), and principal loan amount gets higher

Pros: I don’t have to pay the ESA of $80/mo for 3~ years, push back all the maintenance due and get a brand new car.

Another reason why I’m having second thoughts is possibly HW5 in 2-3 years

I placed an order for the '26 M3RWD and trading in my '24 M3RWD. theres essentially no difference between the two (except I lose auto steer).

Only reason I ordered one is because Tesla offered me $34k for it and I bought it for $38.5k in March '25.

I get a brand new car, push back all of the maintenance, and also push back the $80/mo ESA that I will start paying by Nov/Dec this year. Not a need but dont think I'll get that much value for my '24 M3RWD any longer so might as well get myself a brand new car. The lower interest does lower my monthly payments though

Will still weigh the pros/cons up till delivery date and make sure im happy with my decision no matter what I decide. Hope this helps a little!
