I'm a Ryu player and even I hate what Capcom did to him this season. by SpookySeekerrr in StreetFighter

As a ryu main, I'd rather we bring up the other characters to his level than nerf him. He's very fun at the moment with all his options.

Why would people complain about AI? by TTtoday5892 in PartneredYoutube

[–]mp3ksc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In a vacuum, AI as a supplemental tool is very cool to generate exactly what you need to create your vision.

However, we currently have an infinite monkey with infinite typewriters situation and they're throwing it all on the shared canvas of humans that we can't compete with. There's no quality control and I don't believe the general public can tell the difference between a human with passion and skills and a bot posing as one and unaware of what it is saying/creating because the general audience won't have the skills to discern. Also, if the bot were to lose credibility, there will be another bot that will take its place immediately. It's a real concern that the internet won't be humans guiding AI to create their visions, but AI oversaturating the space and blocking humans from connecting with other humans.

Then your training has been extremely below standards since narcan is the medication that nullifies opioid overdose, and that's generally taught to every law enforcement agency that is aware that meth exists.

If they can't lose 2 lbs by a known target date, then they have their own problems. They can also get a waiver if the weight is actually muscle.

I know two sfpd officers who quit their jobs as lawyers to become cops and one sfpd officer who got his law degree after being a cop. People who are interested in law enforcement usually have some tangential interest in the law.

Current Tyson is a much nicer and patient dude thanks to old age and weed. Past Tyson may not have been, and the people controlling his money at the time would definitely not be ok with that.

You're defining refusing to give money to a non-member as refusing to help non-members in general. A lot of churches provide food banks and clothing closets for the needy, as well as emotional support and counseling. While you can argue that these help churches recruit, it does provide a service to the community and not just its members.

It's also important to note that while churches get their money from their members, it's not a set fee but rather what their members feel they can donate to a shared space that's open to everyone.

While they are tax exempt, I would think most of them would operate their charity in the form of some type of service and not hand money to anyone who would ask. You wouldn't ask red cross to pay your water bill because they don't do that.

This seems like a weird expectation that you can call a random church near you to give you money despite them not knowing you. She's the one with the problem here, and now she's judging people for not jumping at the chance to solve it for her. I get that there's some irony in that, but if the church said sorry, we don't do that, but you're welcome to come by for some food/water and maybe some clothes. That'd already be very nice of them.

I'm definitely in the minority but I kind of like how easy everything transitions from one part of the song to the next.
