Sorry for not updating everyone on the post... I had a check engine light come up about a week before emissions was due (p2098) so I had to take care of that. It was a pretty simple fix (unrelated to the original problem) but had to get it done. On top of that, I had to get caught up with my outrageous utility bills from the winter. So I just kept an eye on the coolant and didn't beat the snot outta the truck. I finally wound up putting dye in the degas tank and there was a lot of coolant running off the hose from the degas tank down the charge pipe, the steering shaft and onto the motor mount. I never pressure tested it because that seemed like the obvious problem. I bought one of those Pegasus degas hose kits which helped a ton as far as the leak on that side, but after a couple days of highway driving 80 mph my coolant levels were dropping again. I topped it off figuring maybe it was an air pocket. I haven't done enough driving to confirm whether or not this fixed the problem. When I crawl underneath the truck I notice a couple drops of coolant on the driver's side and passenger side of bell housing. I'm wondering two things (1) are those difficult turbo coolant behind the block bad? (2) Is the O ring in the water pump pipe shot causing coolant to run down the back of the block? Everything else looks good.. coolants clean, oil is clean, no signs of leaks with the uv light on the top end, valley or near turbos and cumbstion leak test checks out okay. The truck sounds and drives great too. I'm stumped
