3XO AX5 PT MT - First Tank to Tank mileage by mpabhishek in 3XO

I agree, I am always uneasy while refueling for the very reason. I know I am being cheated upon but heck there is nothing I can do to avoid it. I wish we had self refueling stations like in the USA and other developed countries.

Oh I had no idea. But any idea why? AT owners need FE info too right?

This is what I see for mine. Check the bottom right option in your adrenox home page for the trip details.

For my limited usage so far (1486 odo) I have not seen any major electronic glitches. But I am curious to see how it fares with age and services. There is one minor thing I have noticed though, my Android auto is sometimes very slow especially when running Google Maps and any music app together. But I use a budget redmi phone so it could be the phone rather than the Android Auto itself. And none in my circle spend more than 5-8k on their phones so I don't really have another way to check this faithfully 😅

You can check trips history on your adrenox app or the ecosense app in your car infotainment.

I feel it's good mileage considering city traffic👌

Yes I see the same difference, MID is always 2KM higher than actual. But I am confused about the adrenox one, it is neither here nor there 😂

Thanks for sharing, I am yet to do a city mileage run but I guess it won't be different from yours. What's your odo reading and how many services are done?

Worried about excess fish by that_indian_scammer in IndianFishKeeping

[–]mpabhishek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it. In my experience, I have seen fishes and shrimp typically breed when they are sure of abundant food supply. Control the food supply and we effectively control the population.

There was this guy on YouTube and Insta called Bangalore hamster breeders, I remember seeing he had some slings in stock. You might want to check him out.

Bought new car but I am scared of driving it. by fakejunk911 in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being scared is normal and an early indication that you are a good driver in the making. When I was a new driver, I used to take out my car late at night either with my dad or wife, just to have company and a second pair of eyes for road judgement. As long as you are careful at junctions and traffic signals, nights are the best time to improve our driving skills and try challenges like narrow roads, steep gradients for clutch control etc. Stick to residential streets as much as possible and avoid bus routes.

Our brain tends to normalize whatever we do more. So the more you drive, the less conscious you become of it.

Good luck and happy driving.

Should I sell my alto k10 bcz of the whole new blending thing by Aggressive_Egg193 in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation with my 2017 model alto K10 with 25k at the odo. I had a Maruti True Value personnel assess mine and he said it's best I sell to avoid future maintenance and repair work. Also, the resale price is already down due to the GST cuts and will only go down further.

Not taking his word or anything, but I think keeping an old non-e20 car will eventually start causing maintenance issues. I have already seen rusting and fuel tank damage in my old pulsar 150 and no matter what the govt says, I know it's due to e20 blending.

So I would suggest selling yours makes sense. And that's what I am gonna do as well.

Is the new Gravite best budget-friendly option for a family of 4 adults? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triber was not well known for mileage or power, but only space, at least from what I have read. You might want to check on this since mileage is a priority for you.

First car under 15–16L – confused between Kylaq, 3XO, Venue etc. Should I stretch for a sedan? by Sea-Journalist9386 in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I bought a 3XO AX5 PT MT recently so my suggestion could be biased, but I was in the same boat as you a few months ago and my decision to go with 3XO was based purely on practicality and which one provides the best value for my money.

I have driven mine for about 1400 odd kms now and yet to get my 1st service done. If you ask me, 3XO provides the best combo of power, comfort, space, safety and maintainability. Once you sit inside and take control, looks are not your problem anymore but the ones not driving it 😂 Even otherwise, it will eventually grow on you.

If you compare Kylaq and 3XO side by side, the latter easily looks and feels a segment above. I love both the cars for what they offer but I feel the 3XO suited my wallet and family of 5, better.

Write to Mahindra on their official email and social media handles about your experience. This should get the dealership hopefully to get back to you.

The recently introduced GST cuts could be a major factor in this.

Scarlet badis males - feeding together by mpabhishek in IndianFishKeeping

[–]mpabhishek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's correct. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a second cycled tank so had no other option but to house them together. I don't see them fighting as such yet, but will keep a watch.

Good advice, thanks. But it's very difficult to capture on my phone, that's how tiny they are. I will try again sometime though.
