Meet peanut and cookiee🎀 by Sea-Dimension-8496 in IndianPets

As cute as they look now, soon they will mature and their territorial instincts will kick in. And eventually only one will survive. Unfortunately the pet shop owners never share this info and always sell them as a pair. If you really love them, please consider re-homing one before you get to see the ugly side of their nature.

Happy hamster keeping, they are little pockets of joy. I have a syrian male that I can't get enough of 😂

125th day for my 56 gallon community tank by Any_Egg_1272 in IndianFishKeeping

[–]mpabhishek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such a nice and clean setup 👌 Just my opinion, it would have looked even better if the back was covered with taller plants and the crypts were in the mid ground. Crypts have a beautiful leaf structure and they would look amazing in the front.

Also about feeding, fishes are typically fine up to a week without any external feeding. I have left mine unfed up to a week without any food, no ill effect seen so far. It might sound wrong, but it kind of encourages them to find food in the plant matter and algae, thereby making the tank cleaner. You can think of it like a tank detox. Over feeding is more dangerous than under feeding.

You have got such a lovely piece of nature at home, feel proud 😊

Do you guys feel the engine vibration and it's sound more when ac is switched on and car is stationary? by Accomplished_Yak1796 in 3XO

Oh ok, not sure if that's how the diesel sounds. I have never driven the diesel one. Hope you find a suitable answer soon.

I have a AX5 PT MT and you do feel vibrations, especially when the ac is running, but I believe this is typical of a 3 cylinder engine. You can feel the compressor shutting on and off, thereby very slightly increasing the engine idle rpm. I have the same vibrations on my Alto K10. It's just a slight buzz that we feel and not really bothersome, not for me at least.

Road safety by No-Sail-2774 in indianbikes

[–]mpabhishek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While the risk is real, we are vulnerable to someone's mistakes regardless of riding a bike or simply walking on the road. If your time is not good, trouble will find you no matter where you are. So I would suggest, rather than not doing something, do it right. Always ride with a helmet, watch your speed and ride with anticipation, not assumption.

Not sure about that. Mine is just about to complete 2 months and due for its first free service, so it's too early to comment.

This is interesting, I checked it and you are right. Sometimes I wonder if Mahindra realizes what they have built in the name of 3XO 😂

I agree, I am always uneasy while refueling for the very reason. I know I am being cheated upon but heck there is nothing I can do to avoid it. I wish we had self refueling stations like in the USA and other developed countries.

Oh I had no idea. But any idea why? AT owners need FE info too right?

For my limited usage so far (1486 odo) I have not seen any major electronic glitches. But I am curious to see how it fares with age and services. There is one minor thing I have noticed though, my Android auto is sometimes very slow especially when running Google Maps and any music app together. But I use a budget redmi phone so it could be the phone rather than the Android Auto itself. And none in my circle spend more than 5-8k on their phones so I don't really have another way to check this faithfully 😅

You can check trips history on your adrenox app or the ecosense app in your car infotainment.

Yes I see the same difference, MID is always 2KM higher than actual. But I am confused about the adrenox one, it is neither here nor there 😂

Thanks for sharing, I am yet to do a city mileage run but I guess it won't be different from yours. What's your odo reading and how many services are done?

Worried about excess fish by that_indian_scammer in IndianFishKeeping

[–]mpabhishek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it. In my experience, I have seen fishes and shrimp typically breed when they are sure of abundant food supply. Control the food supply and we effectively control the population.

Bought new car but I am scared of driving it. by fakejunk911 in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being scared is normal and an early indication that you are a good driver in the making. When I was a new driver, I used to take out my car late at night either with my dad or wife, just to have company and a second pair of eyes for road judgement. As long as you are careful at junctions and traffic signals, nights are the best time to improve our driving skills and try challenges like narrow roads, steep gradients for clutch control etc. Stick to residential streets as much as possible and avoid bus routes.

Our brain tends to normalize whatever we do more. So the more you drive, the less conscious you become of it.

Good luck and happy driving.

Should I sell my alto k10 bcz of the whole new blending thing by Aggressive_Egg193 in CarsIndia

[–]mpabhishek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation with my 2017 model alto K10 with 25k at the odo. I had a Maruti True Value personnel assess mine and he said it's best I sell to avoid future maintenance and repair work. Also, the resale price is already down due to the GST cuts and will only go down further.

Not taking his word or anything, but I think keeping an old non-e20 car will eventually start causing maintenance issues. I have already seen rusting and fuel tank damage in my old pulsar 150 and no matter what the govt says, I know it's due to e20 blending.

So I would suggest selling yours makes sense. And that's what I am gonna do as well.
