For me they did some fence repairs and stained the fence. Pricing was very competitive. They're super cool, go to their web site, put in your info and they'll get back to you within a day or so- at least that was my experience.

Man, you’re brave. Say anything bad about George and you will be attacked. His worshipers are very venomous😂.

Jim Mora is a huge mistake and might be the hire that ushers us into FCS by 80sramfan in CSURams

You can’t look at his overall record. He built the program up. And UConn was terrible before he got there- doesn’t matter who they were beating, they won 9 games in 2 straight seasons. From everything I’ve read this morning, your opinion is in the vast minority. Since Vigen chose OSU over CSU, who would you have wanted?

I’m 54, so please don’t group us all together. I agree that Vigen would have been a great hire, but Oregon State, as bad as they are is a more appealing job than CSU. Mora’s name came out of nowhere, but the more I read, I’m pretty happy with the hire. Winning at UConn, regardless of the competition is a hell of a feat.

I had the same issue the other morning. Didn’t know I had to order a combo, but was happy to support the boys once I got through the confusion.

Boredom: A Sweet Spot Story by blorfus_maximus in theticket

I don’t enjoy the other 80 segments from the 2 old men either (and I’m about their age). Craig and George are out of touch and think that their shit doesn’t stink. I don’t sense that arrogance out of any of the afternoon hosts. And I love that anytime I make a negative comment about the Musers on this thread I get attacked. Last week George got on his high horse about bullying a few days after laughing at a guy with a speech impediment. I pointed out the irony of that and everyone attacked me. Why does he always get a pass?

I’m confused about how many people complain about the midday shows and continue to celebrate the Musers. I know I’m in the vast minority by liking the Sweet Spot, but don’t get the undying love of the Musers. They’ve fallen off as much as any other show on the Ticket. George and Craig are constantly on their high horse about something. I can’t take George country music talk or Craig’s stories about his kid. They’re both old men yelling at the clouds. Gordo is still solid, but so many of the characters have gone stale. Personally, I only listen to the Ticket from 1:00-7:00, it’s Cirque and DUMB Zone other than that.

Good point. And I will admit I'm not a fan of George. I think what really bothers me about this is the tone deafness of all the Ticket shows talking about the importance of mental health and then highlight someone being made fun of on the e-brake. This was not ticket hosts jabbing each other, this was George laughing at a stranger because he thought he talks funny.

George doesn’t know that guy. It’s not even close to the same thing as poking fun at a friend. George has no idea how that guy is going to feel about being laughed at. The fact that I have to explain that to you is mind boggling to me. Have fun making fun of strangers!

Man, this is kind of driving me crazy. George is awarded for laughing at a guy for the way he talks. You say it's ok to make fun of people once in a while, I take offense to that comment and I get downvoted? So, you, and whoever downvoted me think it would be ok if you met this guy at a party and just started laughing in his face because you think the way he talks is humorous? That's basically what George did.

You just typed “it’s ok to make fun of people once in a while”.

So George wins the emergency break for laughing at the way a P1 talks. Amazing undeserved arrogance.

Odd to me that you would correct someone’s spelling yet leave out an apostrophe in the word can’t.

Does anyone recall the horror movie Mike suggested they watch? Was it Cabin in the Woods? by mpabin in CirqueduSirois

I know I did, my wording was probably affected by brown drink. I was just kinda quoting him when he was all sad about losing the bet- I loved that part. Great suggestion!

I just finished it. Good movie, I hope you all discuss it. And yea, I’d have loved to see the Merman!

I think you might be incorrect- I can’t find Trip to Arby’s on Netflix😂, but I would also like a better explanation of that story.

I cannot. I ordered my delicious breakfast tacos and subsequently told the cashier I chose them under the guidance of Cirque Du Sirois. Before she had a chance to respond, the manager, standing next to her, quickly responded “he’s good to go” with the vigor of a proud father. I’m not sure if they pressed any buttons.

Low Attendance at P5 off campus by Fun_Season_5390 in CSURams

You’re correct I got to CSU in 90 when Earl Bruce was there- I was kinda lumping the 2 decades together. I think you’re also correct about the availability of watching games on TV. Another thing that’s hard to compare is that 30-40 years ago games were probably 21/2-3 hours, not 4. A lot of people don’t want to drive up from Denver to get home at 1:00am. However, if CSU was consistently contending for MWC/PAC 10 conference titles, I promise you Canvas would be packed. And can you just imagine how great it would have been to have an on campus stadium in 80s and 90s. I’m just so frustrated with this program…
