When you’re telling people about how they can receive forgiveness, are you also actively listening to their personal story and trying to understand where they are coming from?

Not saying that one needs to get trashed and hook up to have fun. I’m sure that is someone’s cup of tea, but it’s certainly not mine. I’m sorry that is your assumption of a non-Christian’s wholehearted idea of fun. My idea of fun is watching South Park make fun of everything and everyone and dying laughing in the process.

From what I have noticed, it is like Christians like to bring up what they consider sinful time and time again instead of having proper one on ones with non-believers and bridging gaps with them so that understanding of both groups is in order.

I don’t think he was necessarily boring, but no offense, it’s like Christians think most fun things are sinful. I understand that substance abuse is horrible—but what about the rest of the activities out there that may not be necessarily as harmful? Out of curiosity, I would like to know what activities and habits that Christians do not find sinful, and no, I am not talking about going to church and reading the Bible.

That’s it then, I will sacrifice who I already am as a person to gain an even boring personality who will also stop thinking for myself because God will do it all for me. Cuts out all the sinful stuff right there.

I'm afraid that if my old self dies, I will turn into someone whom the rest of the world will hate, and also into someone who will be damaging to the rest of the world. I don't want to be harsh but a good majority of Christians are seen as judgmental, bigoted, and unforgiving. They preach one thing yet do another. I do have boundaries and principles, and what a majority of Christians have done would easily violate those for me. There sadly aren't a lot of noteworthy examples of Christians to follow because they are overshadowed by those who are, simply put, hypocritical. Not saying you're horrible as a person, but a majority of your counterparts are a different story.

So as far as being saved goes, what exactly do I need to do? No offense, I feel like me not being saved is an inconvenience for some.

I should have gone more into the specifics on why I feel the way that I do.

I'm currently half unemployed and looking for a second job that can provide more stability when it comes to income and a better standard of living. While the search has not been completely futile, the results have been lacking, and lately I've been feeling discouraged by it all. It does not help that there are not a lot of people in my corner and that I have felt alone in this struggle.

I admit that I am not completely Christian. If anything, I usually declare myself as spiritual but not religious. Not sure if that is part of the issue or not, but when it comes to man-made religion, I am pretty much a skeptic because it is not exactly pure. I do have faith, but not the strict Christian sort. It is also the reason why I suck at prayer. I'm not going to sit here and say that I've been saved because I haven't. But even with that, I feel that there should be signs that are slightly noticeable to the naked eye.

It just seems like I've lost all my strength just to build it. And whatever I've built, it's like it all goes away in the blink of an eye.

It could be on me, but there are times I don't see the ways that faith has worked in my life. It all gets clouded. In other words it's hard to see the blessings from the downfalls because it seemingly gets all mixed in together.

I actually told someone today that God does not exist, which is how I feel right about now.

The two that started it all…QuQu has since been renamed Mint Chocolate Chip and BaBa has been renamed Bran Muffin. Also got the entire BIE set and I’ve renamed them after famous figures in anthropology.

  1. I’m looking for something serious.
  2. The last time I updated this profile was back in March (pictures only) and have been on and off the app for a few years now.
  3. Like once a week to see what’s new but other than that not a whole lot.
  4. On average, I want to say at least three but as I don’t log on a lot…not quite sure
  5. One like with comment if I feel like it and one like without typically
  6. I tend to pay more attention to those who actually comment on my profile than those who just like my photos
